Can’t wait to watch this video later. Can’t cheat on my husband and watch without him. 🤣. If y’all haven’t been to grand Teton yet, make sure you ride your bikes on the bike path there. The views of the mountains are epic. Also, if you get the chance to kayak the snake river in the park (Jackson dam to Pacific Creek) you should do it. If you’re gonna be there between June 13-25th we already got the permits for our kayak and would be happy to let you guys use it. Unbelievable way to see the views, and hopefully wildlife. Lastly, grizzly #399 came out of hibernation recently with one cub. She’s 27, the oldest bear known to reproduce in the ecosystem.
You do such an incredible job of showing off these parks. You're my go-to for information about what to do and where to go. Thanks for your great work on these videos!
I’m still catching-up on your videos! I so agree, the Painted Desert is gorgeous! Made our visit on the same Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest trip last year…I wish I had taken the hikes you took when I was younger…the hips don’t work as well as they used to! You had beautiful weather to add to your experiences, you Lucky Ducky’s! Your videography, once-again, is second to none…just beautiful! Please be safe, and can’t wait for your next video! Love you two, Virginia
I wS there last October. The history of how this park formed was so amazing. The film and the ranger you talked to was very awesome. This park amazed me. Just got back from camping on Santa Cruz Island in the channel island. Some great long distance hiking and summitted the tallest peak. I need to go back for the kayaking ❤
Kim, thanks so much for the kind words and the Super Thanks! Greatly appreciate it, and we're so glad you're along for the journey. ❤️ - Katelyn & Howard
Hi guys another interesting and well done video. Never thought of that park but looks very cool. Need to check it out next time I am in Arizona. Thanks for showing us
I am such an idiot. I drive right past it twice a year and haven't stopped. Great video and I will definitely stop in the fall. Survive 80 billion years and then get struck by lightning LOL. You guys do a great job with your narration.
Very cool! I love that the trails are dog friendly - we don't like leaving Sierra too long. There is actually some petrified wood on the N end of Santa Cruz Island (Channel Islands National Park). The Painted Desert & Blue Mesa are gorgeous!
Thank you for highlighting that this park is so dog friendly as that is definitely not the case with most National Parks, unfortunately! Please keep it up, letting us know what parts of each park allow our furry children to enjoy the time with us. Our two miniature poodles give us so much joy but do limit us in our travels. If you find great restaurants with outdoor seating and allow dogs, it would be great to know about them.
Absolutely beautiful and so unique; there’s nothing else like it. So looking forward to seeing this in person someday soon and being able to take my pooch with me is definitely a plus. When is the best time of year to visit this NP? Thanks so much for sharing. Safe travels!
We enjoy your videos. Just curious if you need a permit to film in the park. There was a couple we meet that mentioned they don’t allow filming without a permit ? Do you guys happen to know? Also, just today I heard from another channel that now all forest snd parks are going to require permits to film for our you tube videos. There are going to be hefty charges as well. Great channel !!

Blessed my heart to see your puggle enjoying her new toy ❤️😊👍
Based on your video, this park has already exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to go there.
This park was never on my radar, but now I would take the time to stop. Thanks for the great video.

Thanks, and Scout LOVES to hike! The puggles, eh, never really enjoy hiking. 🤣
I haven’t been there since I ws a kid. I forgot how cool this park is. I also may have had to pause the video to take in the majesty of that shake! 😂
Great review, folks! Thank you.
Thanks, Kate! 👍
Just there 2 weeks ago! We did the whole park stopping at all the stops. There are many hikes! It is amazing!

So glad someone gave this park some love. Did you see the wigwam motel in Holbrook
Thanks, Glen and yes! Holbrook is a quirky little town with several unique gems. 👍 -Howard
One of our favorite stops in the SW - just there a couple weeks ago. Very neat wide range of things to be wowed by
Hiked there with our pup all the time.
It's such a dog friendly NP, Daniel! Right up there with White Sands and New River Gorge. 👍 - Howard
Another great video, thank you! Think we are adding this one to this years travels.

Ok that’s a cool park. I’ve seen a petrified tree in Nevada, Red rock I think but the national park has so many more. Very cool 👍🏼
Smart dog.

Don't miss the film about the making of the Arch when there. It shouldn't even be a park, but since it is, it is the best nps film.
We visited in December and it was frigid, was not expecting that.

Wonder where James is from? New England? Love your travels…
James is my bf, he's from Maine :)
Could you imagine how scary the Petrified Forest would be at night time? I'd be petrified.
Who Dey 🐅 I didn’t realize that Route 66 went through the park.
