Yes this was the Family Values Tour that served as the "Follow the Leader" tour. Yes, this is also pre-treadmil. The mics were insulated with foil and some other heat repellant. Plus I got to see them do this song from less than 10 feet away, it also had a water mister so their faces wouldn't melt off as they sing into the burning mics. They didn't replace them afterwards and still had a couple of songs with backing vocals.
The last time that I saw the microphones on fire it was in the “Live in Paris” DVD, that came out in 2017, but the concert was in 2012. You can see it in Amazon Prime Video.

finally!! I definitively recommend checking out other live performances than Paris, It's great and all but honestly there's a lot of other better live performances, specially from Sehnsuch to LIFAD era. this was at the times that rammstein didnt even use a double bass drum. the sound is so diffrent compare to now days.
