The ban wave is just insane. It's happening at an abnormal rate. Also the penalty is too harsh for these innocent players. I just can't imagine losing all those trophies. That's just wild

I totally agree with your points especially with the optimization part. I just don't understand how much buggy and under optimized the game performance is with every update. We are getting less QoL update while existing issues are not being addressed and more concerns are added as it piles up. They either experiencing internal conflict or understaffed as they rush through creating more contents without diligently ensuring the builds they released are thoroughly checked and QA approved to prevent any possible problems. Despite their shortcomings, I still hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel for SLA.
I think the game will continue to thrive but they gotta really step it up

The problem with Choi and Baek is that they released before global. Community should have been prepared, as soon as Cha was 10x times stronger than everyone else in the game. It is what it is limited characters released after global characters are better than the others, with the exception of min and Emma.
They don't hate manhwa characters, It's just a lot of them got released before global, and now they don't have financial incentive to buff them to the point they are meta(making sm baek strong will worsen sales of Charlotte). They kinda shoot themselves in the foot by making popular S rank characters so soon.

Hi Payne, thanks for voicing out most of the communities concern especially the optimisations and the banning. This is exactly the reason why I support and extend as you have a very fun and engaging personality.
My personal take on the game,
First of all, I really like the manhwa, even read the novel while waiting for new chapters and I was hype and excited to know that there will be a SL game and the gameplay is the type that I like the most (although I would like it to be most skill related rather than how much u pay).
Secondly, regarding OCs, personally, I don’t really care, as although I start playing because of SL, I stayed for the gameplay, so no matter how many OCs they continue releasing as long as it’s still fun I don’t really mind, however, I do agree that char should be at least adults in SL universe, charlotte and Harper are not as young as I expected as they are 16, and in Japan 16 is a legal age for marriage, still doesn’t change the fact that they are minors tho, but what I don’t like about them is the animations. They can be young hunters as the hunter origin story kinda justified their reason for being a hunter at a young age but their animation which is their fighting style is too cutesy for SL universe.
Lastly and the most concerning is the optimisation, it’s horrendous, seriously how can they promote it to be a mobile game when it clearly isn’t suitable to play on mobile, I have been lagging and crashing since the first day I started playing and each update doesn’t change it at all, it’s even becoming worse, and we can even get banned for it? Although it haven’t happened to me yet and I certainly hope it doesn’t coz I have spend quite abit on the game, but the situation have got me restless as it’s a ticking time bomb, I dunno when it would happen and I’m scare to even play on mobile. I sincerely hope that the devs can fix the game or at least release a notice stating what triggers the banning so players can at least check whether they have violate anything.
All in all, I really love the game and hope it continues to thrive but it really needs serious work In optimisation

@@PayneBlade another thing I agree with what you said in the video is that they should seriously test the game and yes, do postpone if needed to, sometimes while playing, I really wonder if they tested before releasing, most bugs and other realisation are always from communities or content creators which shouldn’t be the case, I realised the the most common mistakes that the devs themselves noticed is the typos or translation issue or wadever related to in game texts and ironically that has the least impact on gameplays, and the one thing I hate the most about netmarble is the fact that they have the audacity to keep releasing new packages without first fixing their bugs.
All very good points, especially optimization. I don't know what happened, but they managed to fix the lag around the time Meilin came out, which remained that way until after Soohyun. Then when Mirei was released, the red icon notification bug started and got worse through the release of Go Gunhee. With Harper, the lag came back, and worse in my opinion (the loading circle lasts about the same amount of time, but even once it's gone, the game won't register screen touches). Now Charlotte, inheriting all of the lag, bans, and icon bugginess. It seems to be getting worse and worse.

And as a newish player. I completely agree. I kinda hate that I can't stick with the characters I love. I have zero desire to spend money for random kids with hideously cutesy animations. I want the characters I fell in love with.
Part of me wishes it was just a game without the monetization, just to experience the story the way I want at the pace I want. (But I know that will never happen)
I do love the care they have taken with the story. My first time fighting Igris was such a great feeling. I was thrilled by the cutscenes. I hope they find a way to keep that.

Have a great love for the Manhwa and great love for the game, but I gotta admit that with every update my phone just can't handle it. I do switch to PC at home, but I enjoy taking a nice lunch at work opening up SLA and getting content done. Now I'm practically on a timer when I play, 10mins before every crash so I can only do so much before it gets irritating. Now I fear for my account every time it crashes, thank ya for pushing the good word out for us Payne 👍

Thanks for speaking up for the community. I feel like there's too much to do every day, and the game isn't running smoothly. I previously took a break for a month and only came back for the summer event to get Seo costume, which got me interested again. The loading issue was better then, but now it's worse, and the clicking delay is very annoying. With all the stuff to do, I think they could give us higher rewards for fewer attempts, for example, raising gates rewards and give us fewer keys.
1. we dont want loli levelling.
2. we dont want waifu levelling.
3. optimise for mobile.
4. we dont want unjust bans.
I ll be honest, I haven't been clicking to the new banner videos, even if you know how I respect your work you put. It's only to send a message and I m happy you re the messenger.
Concerning the banner characters, I wouldn t mind the PGR and Devil May Cry approach, personally, that they release existing characters with a different title, giving new roles or/and element (e.g. SM "The Night Claw" Baek) or something like that. Like keeping the characters we know, create stronger bonds, let em maybe use the same premium outfits or release them with new ones.
I could not have put all that was going on in my mind in better words.

Just the reason why I support Payne.

If netmarble made this game a lot like 7ds then it would be a very solid game the set up for 7ds was solid a way to get resources the story the side events and the fact that it doesn’t feel like you are forced to buy stuff in the game 7ds doesn’t feel like a money grab of a game compared to sla imo
tbh I played 7ds for 2 years and I can honestly say it was WAY more P2W than SLA but it was much better optimized
i am top 30 supporter but probably quitting the game this week as i have become bored of it lately. Funny enough, I read the manhwa recently and enjoyed it so much that I ended up losing interest in the game somehow. I will continue being subscribed to you as i still like the videos, you are a good content creator! Keep up the good work bro.

My worry is he will just be good at the start and become obsolete. Eventually there will only be new characters that outshine him. Once the OG characters become outmatched by more Harper's and charlottes I'm out. Which seems inevitable.
The problem is that the game was developed with FRICTION in mind, everything takes a long time to be done, but if you pay you can spend half the time (example: keys, sweep, etc.)
The power scale is also an issue, but it's fun to win a fight in the red zone, but I feel like my A4 Alicia has a broken leg because it doesn't have an extra star, this makes a lot of difference in WoBL (even so I managed to complete WoBL on hard)
Today I spend more time in SLA than I spent playing World of WarCraft, and I didn't want the time to come when I had to abandon the game due to lack of time
you're right, the community wants good content even if it takes a little while longer, and it sucks how every update there is a new bug to replace the one, before it was the red dot and now it's the clicks
They need to buff Cha Hae-In back to her original status.
My cha has enough dps for arachnid but when it comes to scorpion, I barely do it with 25 seconds left and mana fully exhausted. And even arachnid isn't fast enough like before.

Excluding the game's performance issues, I enjoyed the Baran update. Hopefully tho the devs make the game more mobile friendly and stop handicapping their game. It would be a shame if SLA can't reach its full potential just because it is unplayable or doesn't play properly.
Talk about fumbling the bag. These devs gotta be insane making a mobile game not even playable for so many people in 2024 where gacha competition is just so fierce.

Been playing sla for over a month, almost 2, on a galaxy s23+. Never changed my graphics since day one. A couple times since update 2.0, even my gates or encores lag horribly. It glitches, freezes even and then speeds up like mad w a popup "Please choose the correct graphics blablabla". Their detection system apparently sees this as cheating and that's how ppl get banned for no reason without explanation. What the hell NM?! FIX YOUR GAME! At this point I'm convinced it's pure laziness and money grab. Damn shame to ruin what could be great so early on

i play on pc mostly and the delay when i claim any rewards is consuming so so so much time, like i dont understand usually when an update comes the game performance should be better than it was before in SLA its the opposite for some reason
yea they literally messed up every possible platform for perfomance. it's quite crazy
They need to take away the stupid 5 second delay every time you click on something to click on another thing, like for instance I upgrade one of my units levels and then cannot click on anything else for a few seconds because of the delay. It wasn't like that until the 2.0 update.
For me the drama with Charlotte/Harper is not the same weight as the problem with the random ban.
You can still play the game but choose to not play with them to mark your point

Its seem that they forgot the most important fact about the Solo Leveling. People love Solo Leveling Manga and Anime. Not them. People play their game because they got license to release the game based on that story. With what going on right now, if somehow other developer can get their hand on the license, people will leave this game for sure.

Please just for the love of god just optimise your game Net Marble. Happy to see Payne call this out. The community has been crying about the horrible crashing and freezes especially on ios devices. ZZZ, WuWa Genshin none of them has this issue which proves you guys can do way better. I hope the next update is focused on optimisations or else the player base is will leave. Half of them already did.

The one problem that keeps bothering me which I heard will be fixed (hopefully) soon: after getting reward, or clicking something, especially when choosing hunter team presets, we need to click the thing several times until it works. Please escalate this problem to devs, I play on mobile. I know I am not alone cause someone commented on this several videos ago. I believe my device is capable enough, so this is the game's problem.
The ONLY thing this game has going for it is the source material, the optimization is abysmal, the customer support is trash, they are calling the players liars. What the hell is that Kaiselin fight? How is this level acceptable by anyone and say, yeah let's release that.

after the new update i could not even play for five minutes with out the game crashing, i had to switch to playing on the system which is difficult for me i can't complete my WOBL run and story mode cause of it

Bro the experience right now is worse than it was in early access, with constant loading screens, clicks not registering, having to wait like 15 seconds before a page becomes interactable. It's ass.
I am still waiting for them to buff ssr weapons and make those stronger than westwind. They must do it on the next update.
Taking a shit ton of time for dailies is definitely up there for me. The gates/mines system is absolute trash for F2P even if you sweep since you still have to login several times to mine everything.
Instances/encores are also meh. They are supposed to be daily farm but then you have bosses like Kaisel/Beste which you have to sweat to beat at the tier that will actually give you worthwhile artifacts.

Also, there are times that I just got stock in loading screen and there are times also that I'm very laggy even though I'm on normal frame rate and graphics. Another one is there are times that after my game recovers from lag, it'll fast forward so much that it end the fight but also still fighting even though there's no one on a certain stage.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what's in store for the future of this game. If the next updates don't hit the mark, I might be taking a break.

For me Only problem with this update is two kids. They are too expensive for f2p. I know my phone was a potato phone so i changed my phone. Also why they thought in first place that Kid hunters will work? SL never had that bullshit.
