I discovered this neat puzzle today and had no clue how to begin, so thank you for sharing your strategy and skill set. You are a great teacher since I have solved two easy kevel Kakuro in a short time. I have not been this joyful since I discovered and figured out Sudoku, thank you!
That is so great to hear! It’s always fun to discover new puzzle types.
this is far most the best tutorial I've ever seen for a kakuro game!!. You just explained it too well and trust me,in just one go I understood it extremely well.Thank you soo much!!
Aw I’m glad you enjoyed it!
So it's a trial and error game. Got it.
Thanks mate.
Thank you for sharing this! I just got a puzzle book and this was the only game I didn’t know how to play. I’ve finished the sudoku, nanogram and numbrix sections but I hated leaving this part blank. Now that I know how I’m determined to finish them.
I’m so glad to hear I was able to help you finish the book! There’s so many great types of logic puzzles out there. Hope you enjoy more!
NGL this looks like the sudoku game but 10x harder
I appreciate this video. One of my Sudoku books has Kakuro in it and they don't say anything about only using 1-9. They only talk about the non-repeating digits.
I came across this during my math WA
It’s so cool
I’m gonna try more
In my opinion, Soduku kind of gets boring though
Thanks for introducing me to KENKEN
Thanks man!!! I have just started doing them so I was pretty confused
There's this app called number sums on Android which is quite similar but instead of working out what adds up, you eliminate the numbers that don't. I enjoy puzzles like this. The math part of it energises me - and I hated math in school!
Thank you very much Steven. Very clear n precise explanations.
Glad you liked it!
Very well explained, l’m gonna try few Kakuro puzzles. Glad to have watched this video as a starting point
Thank you it was so easy and helpful

Just the one, and I unfortunately don’t have much time to upload anymore since life got busier in the last couple of years. But I appreciate the kind words, thank you!
Thanks,. This video helped me to kickstart times kakuro
thanks you made this fun, I'll have to give it a try. is it the same as killer sudoku- where you add the cells together get the sum?
Thanks really appreciate it.
Thank you
Simple, understandable and direct, thank you very much !!!
Do you know where I can find printable kakuro exercises?
Thanks for the kind words! GM puzzles (grandmaster puzzles) blog/website has a few, 54 to be exact right now. That’s a great source of handmade puzzles. I was also just at Barnes and Nobles and they have a gazillion puzzle books and of course Amazon. Kakuro is probably the second or third most popular puzzle type next to Sudoku there’s plenty of apps you can download and books to buy or websites to visit. :-)
The Epoch times (printed newspaper) has a page weekly with with puzzles (kakuro incluided) ;)
Liked it ✔️

hi eveeryone

Your a saint, thankyou!
Haha I wouldn’t go that far, but the kind words are appreciated. Thanks!
No link?
where are you playing this? Site or app
I played this on a website, just googled “kukoro”.
The number can not be repeated in row or column( like Sudoku) so this kakuro is badly prepared.
Some Kakuros have that added constraint but the standard Kakuro puzzle just states digits can’t repeat for a clue, but allowed along a row or column if there are multiple clues. Or sometimes they are known as “entries” or groups.
