Thanks for the detailed repair, It was a life saver. I just repaired mine a few days ago, my wifi wasn't working and my speaker was just the same as this device in your video. I replaced both flex cables and everything works great now. 🙂

Be very careful....they skipped over the part where you have to remove the board in the back to be able to release the large screen's ribbon cables in order to pry off the large screen, otherwise the screen's ribbon cable comes off the back of the screen and you'll need a new screen $$$$. So watch several videos and use them to fill the gaps in between them

@@Zereto44 you have to pull up several sources and cross reference to get a good technique...I was not successful. The biggest issues is the glue on the inside screen....you have to take a lot of time and use a thin card and gently pick at it till it releases...you cannot use force to pull the screen off the frame, or the screen will get damaged...the rest of the disassembly is not really that hard...just the big screen. if it gets damaged....the phone is a trashed.

The big screen is key....slow, and easy, if you pull too hard the screen will break internally....also I used a heating pad to soften the glue, and still ended up damaging the screen.

but if u have same identical problem as this one then dont change the screen
try to open the phone maybe at very small angle 10 degree at least and see is it working ?
if it is working maybe the flex cable only is the problem and its much cheaper to replace cable than entire screen

Both displays just cracked, don't put your fingers in without having the appropriate screen removal solution and a hot air gun, watch out for the connecting strips of the large display break quickly
