    Welcome back to my channel
This is the first part of this classic hallway table that I've been building this year.
I was very proudly awarded "The Furniture Makers Company - The Masters Award" in June 2021 for this project
The hot sand shaded marquetry took over 200 hours alone.
The table is constructed from American Black Walnut using dovetails, mortice and tenons, and modern methods including CNC and Festool Domino.
It was built to complete the small set of furniture I've made over the past few years that are my homage to the man that is Leonardo Da Vinci.
The processes include dovetailing, sawing wood, marking wood, veneering, marquetry, laminating, drawer construction and much much more.
Part 2 is almost complete and may already be done so have a look on my channel to see.
I hope you enjoy watching the build process and welcome your comments.
    Thank you for watching.

I am still new to creating content for TH-cam and would greatly appreciate your comments on which of my video styles you like or dislike and why. That way I hope to be able to improve my editing. Many thanks.

It was quite a challenge but if you mark out precisely, it makes cutting easier.

Was this build portion filmed at the London School where Matt Estlea was?

      Yeah, at Rycotewood

@@WoodScrape Rycotewood. That's nearly enough to make me want to immigrate.

Wish you would verbally describe your work. I don't give thumps up for silent movies.

Hi Nicole, thanks for the feedback, you aren’t the first to say this about this video. I am still new to editing so wanted to try something different. Is the 2nd part to this video more what you prefer?

Me too, planing that last bit down all the way is somehow insanely satisfying :)
