You could give a slide hammer a try to pull the rockers back out.

couldn't you have removable stock rocker panels like nutserted on. Or get a thick hollow rubber mould thats replaces the rocker panel
Similar to the rubber they use on the rear end of a Kubota posi track so when you hit something it doesnt damage anything
why not find a way to make a "bash bar" for the rocker panels? is that against the FD rulebook?
like what if you cut open the rocker, built something similar to a door bar inside of the rocker, and then covered it up with a new OEM rocker panel. for how many times ive seen guys get super bummed about crashed up rocker panels, idk why no one puts time into that area to improve over factory sheet metal.

Foam holds moisture and will rust. Make sure u have a barrier between the foam and steel.
I didn’t before. But I really don’t get my car wet more than twice a year. But thanks for the info
