    I like her passion for Nigeria. Her grand father not even her dad was born in Nigeria. Some of us that were born in Nigeria don't even want to represent Nigeria.

      @Relaty Vibe 1:08 Her Dad is a likely half Naija and her Gran Father full Nigerian, she is likely a quarter Nigerian as both men partnered with Caucasian women, she is probably at least 75% Caucasian, 1:20 her little sister looks more mixed than her, she would pass for 100% Caucasian.

    • @blakjak38
      @blakjak38 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blademanxShe’s white. I’m not saying she’s not qualified as a “Nigerian”, which is actually a colonial construct. But y’all acting like she don’t stand out like a sour thumb when she’s among the other Nigerian players. And get sun burned. Black people get so giddy when we have someone white or light mixed race as member of our tribe or community. A hundred years from now, Nigerians who look like her will be running the country, while you regular negroes will make up the peasantry. It’s been the historical pattern.

      We won't win the World Cup in 2023, but we can make a brilliant impact and then hopefully win the 2027 tournament. There are so many good teams in the world today, like the US, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, England, the Netherlands, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, to mention some names. I remember back in 2004 when we beat England 3-0 in a friendly before the 2004 Olympics (Perpetua Nkwocha got 2 goals and Stella Mbachu got the third goal). But the current England women's team is so scary! They beat Latvia 20-0 just 2 days ago in a World Cup qualifier, and I shudder to think what would happen if they faced the current Super Falcons now. But if we continue these training camps which will help improve the team's play, then one day we may be able to stand up to England, but now is not the time to face them. But one day, we definitely will, and hopefully when that day comes, the team will be ready.

    The only explanation I have for this girl's connection to Nigeria is that her father is biracial, her grandfather a black Nigerian, like Ross Barkley. Because there I see a girl of white and English appearance, a bit like Kirian Trippier who probably has a black Caribbean grandfather, the same for Ryan Giggs... I think that with France, England has one of the biggest biracial or mixed populations of Europe. I have the impression that mixed unions are an older phenomenon in England.
