I have been reading and watching a lot of videos about the Homeworld series lately, and boom here i am now. Im so happ you got to review this one before moving on TotalBiscuit. You are missed man, that intro is a trip down nostalgia lane.

I didn't expect to find that Hardspace: Shipbreaker came from so long ago.

The commie is dead. Excuse me while I spit on his commie grave. Not a morning ritual for me, but maybe it should be.
Imo most fun rewatching is the board games, TGS (or cooptional) and terraria playthrough with jesse.
If you havent checked it, take a look at BSG board game or secret Hitler. Crendor being the colonial admiral and doing his 5D gambit will never get old.

Currently a free game on the Epic Store... didn't expect to see a TotalBiscuit WTF on it. Nice to learn from him about this title. TB still providing value to the gaming comminity!

I just bought the game on the winter steam sale. They must have patched the game because the AI is pretty tough on normal and I’ve played HW1 when it first came out.
TB would be playing Among Us right now. RIP

the AIs in FFA only attack the host. I started a game with me and 5 hard AIs. I won. Dumb. As. Bricks.
Shocking how fast time passes. TB is still a legend. But for a second i was scared that someone used his voice for AI generated vid. Im glad i was wrong.

the AAVs aren't tanks, they're ships. the concept of a tank was originally "land ship". seeing as this game uses ship terminology (I.E.: carriers, cruisers, ect), this takes out the "land" part. they're just ships.
Somehow I don't think it's gonna help to correct TB now...

Campaign is great, but lacks good Skirmish and options.
AI is ULTRA bad and all the good stuff from the campaign is missing.
You just get a few techs to research, no artifacts, very few maps :(

Just damn, the second minute of the vid is about the name homeworld and the expectations of a legacy, about "exploiting the name of" ... this guy would absolutely melt at the disgrace that is baldurs gate 3 for exemple. John, we miss you and the shamefull thing is that you'll ever stay relevant.

Looks like a $5 game, ...very limmited ammount of maps, and pretty much only one faction, that is slightly modded to make it a second one...and a low quality cheating AI...in short a lazy attempt of using a well known and nostalgia marketed IP+ boring dull, sandy maps, and annoying music...quite sad... TB is still awesome...one of the few that was honest while offering his opinions about crap products, and good ones also...
