Thank you pastor. The Old testament doesn't just show God's zeal and harshness when it pertains to judgement, it also shows his mercy.

Thanks Pastor Paul. In describing how evil Manasseh was - including barbecuing his own children! - I'm reminded of someone asking the pastor that if God is real and God is good, why doesn't He do something about the evil in the world. And the pastor replies to him, "Yes He could, so should He start with you?" In God's infinite holiness, we're all evil and apart from His goodness and mercy and grace through the blood of Christ we're all deserving of hell. So we can look at Manasseh and say that no one is beyond the mercy and forgiveness of God if they turn to Him in humility and repentance and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. I dare say that even if Hitler had turned to God in his last minutes, I believe God would have forgiven him. Recall that in 2 Kings 21:16 it says that Manasseh filled Jerusalem with innocent blood from one end to the other.

I don’t struggle 😂 I’m happy they’re going to be in heaven because I don’t deserve to be there either and I’m glad that God forgives and has died for us all.

It`s good to here about Manasseh, I myself have felt that my heavenly Father might not forgive me. There are 54 million women in the U.S. that have killed there babies, I being, a man fell victim to this. I hope that YHVH will forgive me. I repent often and humbly.

Manasseh might have been even worse than King Ahab. If he can be redeemed anyone can. It shows how loving and forgiving God is.

If you don't understand the Bible, learn from Pastor Paul. If you don't have time to read or have trouble reading, learn from these videos.

I fell into the trap of listening to sermons and not reading my word!! I beg you to make time to know the word for yourself!! Even if you listen to audio scriptures get the inspired word from Abba Father for yourself! Blessings!!!

He makes a good point about Hezekiah's failure to raise up a godly son. The scripture indicates that Manasseh didn't even know that the Lord was God until his dramatic repentance, meaning that he probably hadn't heard much about Him from Hezekiah, despite the latter being a good king in general. It's interesting that Manasseh's lifetime overlapped with Josiah's for about 6 years. We're not sure when his repentance occurred, but nevertheless he was probably able to instruct Josiah in the ways of the Lord early on, which might have inspired Josiah to look into it further when he was older.

Was the Ark of the Covenant still there. I read something that states that it may have been moved during the time that Menassah reigned.
