That aging topic was intriguing.. I'm in my mid 30s now + I literally stopped aging in like 2009, so I look about 25 - It's so bizarre. I'm not sure why... something to do with genes or how I'm living life in the 2010s/2020s, I was growing up in the age of diesel being used in cars than petrol, no social media (We had MySpace + MSN.. but that's it lol), so it might the atmosphere or influencers helping me age less, or the food I'm eating + certain foods/drinks are more trendier. I've worked in care homes and such - I think what it is, is that when you hit your 80/90s, you become weary and tired and - for lack of a better way of putting it - want to die. A lot of elderly folk have said this to me, they are 'ready to go' or 'had enough' And yes, it could be because they are aged, sore, and lack mobility. But I do believe that we get to the point as humans, where we mentally check out too, and I think this is important. I don't believe in a 'meaning' to life, but I do believe that it would feel less 'meaningful' if we lived forever. Death is part of life.
The Uni question - I think…degrees are a long term investment (think of it like buying a house) and if you’re not sure about what you want to do then don’t go (yet). Typically your passion will lie in studying something that you would want to learn everything about without considering how much money you’ll make.
