- Re-did the previous video, making some changes and adding a ton of new singers. This new video contains twice as many singers with a 3 octave range than the previous two videos.

I want to leave the information that Geoff has gotten his new definitive lowest recorded held chest note being as low as an F1!!! 2:50 to get extra access to the extra bass line!!!
Him along with Voiceplay did a release of Whiskey in the Jar cover, along with Omar Carodna.
It's totally enjoyable and sweetheart to hear it, despite Geoff's crazyness with his low notes!!!
You would be blown away hearing that thickness and roundness of that F1 in PURE CHEST!!!!😅😅😅😅

@@BassManMatteo So much time postponed to get to hear that note, but I knew he could do that by the way.
It was only a non-reliable note for him, even if for 90% of the cases that he has an F1 in modal voice, it wouldn't have the best quality to produce for a piece of song, and that's all what it matters :)

actually now i think of it there is a vid floating around somewhere of one of his many podcasts with vocal coaches and he said he occasionally gets e1 chests in morning voice the day of a recording session, just cos of how much he needs to abuse his voice - peter barber talks about it a bit in his analysis of geoff's pumpkin king cover

It was fun watching the live and seeing a few new faces. I have a compilation of myself in chest coming because tbh my channel has too many vids and clips to sort through for the average listener and a second Aca project in the works, however it’s kinda slow going as I lose motivation to mix often and I’m a total noob at it. @@TaigaMoriBassMaybe. I’m never adverse to making music. I am very busy though with real life so even my current project is an off and on type deal. If we find something that works, it can be added to the list. Unfortunately I’ve got a ton of massive life choices I need to work towards for the next 8 months or so.

Looking back at the F1, it sounds a lot like subharmonics to me, and Davide confirmed that Avi does know subharmonics, so I’m thinking it’s subs.
@@BassManMatteoIt’s not, Avi Can NOT do subs or at least hasn’t shown them. And he also has confirmed that he has an F1 in chest voice sometimes.
@@FernyBass Davide told me he’s heard Avi do subs before when he met him at acapella academy
@@BassManMatteo Ah, the hoist the colors note is NOT subs though. Subharmonics are a lot brighter and robotic sounding.

As other pointed out, Geoff has a full chest F1 from Phantom of the Opera and Daddy Sing Bass.

@@TaigaMoriBass I'm just saying this, because from what I have heard, he doesn't stop the whole bass line, it sounds very soft and not airy at all, so I thought it would have more of a chesty quality.

I also struggle with my subharmonics and I've been told I'm putting too much body into it when I try. So it's helpful to know it's not through chest.
