1976 at the age of 15 I rode one of these bad boys. It had an extremely wicked power band. At the time I weighed 120 lb. It was my buddy's bike. I will never forget those 10 minutes of my life.
I remember watching one of those race on an indoor track in Memphis, TN. I believe it was before 1974. Previously to the Rokon and their factory rider showing up, there was a Kawasaki rider, Doug Walls, that dominated every open class race. He was almost lapped by the Automatic Rokon. Classic piece of motorcycle history.
