Send some greek chefs to Tampa., Florida!! We also have Tarpon Springs a greek villege just north of Tampa- they dive for sponges there! Lots of business to be had here!
I would use the word "authentic" with some caution since yogurt is a Turkish word and a similar dish exists Turkey that has a similar name(cacik). I loved your saganaki
Red onions are the most popular and widely grown out of all the aliums in Greece and found at most farmers markets and supermarkets. You can find white onions but I don't know why they are not as popular.
Since she made an episode about Mezedopoleio food, Diane should make an episode about Taverna food, I'd love to see that. 😋 😋😋
I could move to Greece and probably live to 150 years eating this beyond amazing food. Thank You, Diane, for sharing this all with us!!!
This is the most informative series on Greek cuisine. It makes Greek cooking accessible for everyone.
Thank you for a wonderful culinary and cultural experience, love your channel. Pls include recipes.

What brand of olive oil?
Does anyone knows the brand of the wine(xinomavro rosé) that appears in this episode?
Noticed you only use red onion, any reason?
