On the fumble play on the naked boot…you’re totally wrong here. The idea that Justin could have somehow “turned his head to the left” a second earlier is preposterous!!! At that point, he has a free rusher in his face that Tonyan probably SHOULD HAVE CHIPPED!! He DID turn his head less than a step after the play fake. I don’t know what you’re thinking…maybe THE FLASH HAS TIME TO MAKE THAT MOVE!!!! This turnover is on poor scheme…letting a free rusher on the play side crash a naked boot, or a missed assignment as Tonyan did not even try to block the DE!!
This is good stuff and I forwarded this to several friends. Can you keep doing this each week for the Bears' QBs? I'd love to see Tyler Bagent's performance against the Raiders (and upcoming performance against the Chargers) analyzed.
