    Nice video. How long did it take you to ride the Navajo Rocks loop?

    • @mtbingadventures1551
      @mtbingadventures1551  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It took me about 3 hours to do the 17 mile loop.

      @@50mtb44 My pleasure, also if you want to see my Strava on this ride. I did put a link in the description below the video. That way you can see how much I climbed and all the details. Thanks

    1:22 trail is about 10 feet from edge, hardly dangerous.
    1:36 about once every 2 years. painted by hand with a small roller.

      You may have not watched enough of my videos. 10 feet may not be enough room for me. LOL. I wasn't trying to make it sound like riding THIS trail was dangerous. It is just amazing how many cliff edges are in Moab on all the different trails and falling over any of them is not the best idea. I love riding along them because the scenery is always amazing.
      Thanks for the info on the paint. I was curious how often it had to be done.

    I wonder if they have to come out each year and repaint those dots.

      Just found out. Sounds like they do it about every year. I was wondering that myself. The elements out there seem like they could make those fade really quickly.

    Excellent! You did a lot of solo rides. I honestly felt like I was there riding with you.

      Thanks. Most of the trip was solo except for the people I ran into on the shuttles and the collab rides I did with some other TH-camrs. I have about 6 or 7 more videos to make from that trip. Most riding I have ever done in a 12 day period. I would love to be able to do that all the time.

      In a sense that has to be a bit spiritual. Just being out there in alone in previously uncharted territory. I'd love e that. A but scary too? Lol

    I know each rider is different, but what would you estimate to be the time duration to do the entire loop? Loop defined hear: www.mtbproject.com/trail/7007957/navajo-rocks-chaco-loop

    • @mtbingadventures1551
      @mtbingadventures1551  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think a good estimate would be roughly 3 hours at a good fitness level. That would even include a couple of breaks in the ride to soak in the views.

      Thank you so much for the reply. That is what I needed to know. Just trying to plan what day would be best to hit this trail. Thanks again!

    I rode that same loop last fall as our last ride and recovery ride. Nice xc loop for sure!

      That's cool you did the same loop. That is a very nice and scenic ride. I am glad I decided to check it out.

    Good grief man, you can keep all that wind for yourself. Such a rad looking trail tho. Do you live near Moab? 🤘🤘

      I live in the Sacramento, CA area. I was in Moab, Fruita, and Grand Junction for a 2 week vacation. I rode 11 days out of the 12 I was there. I should be putting out about 7 more videos from the trip.
