My baby brother passed away in 1969 when I was three years old. Sounds of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel was on the radio when my Dad, Mom and I were taking him to the hospital. When we were leaving after he died, it was on again. My mother asked for this song on her deathbed 22 years ago. It is a beautiful, criptic, haunting song that has never left me and brings tears to my eyes each and every time I hear it.
