Hi Martyn, great tip that about removing your air/lecy lines and using the shunt button. Not many drivers are taught that. Many of the new trucks come with shorter lines on as the trailers are close to the back of the cab. They don’t think about when you are doing tight turns. Stay safe out there. 😎🇬🇧

Liking your vlog Martyn. Anyway, I cannot ever understand why companies, ie, Jewsons, have to stop unloading you to deal with their own wagon. At the end of the day, you are delivering something they asked for, so at that point, to my point of view, you are driving for them, although just for the duration of the drop-off, so they should deal with you whether or not you work for them🙄. As my dad was fond of telling me, there's more than one way of skinning a cat, after turning your truck round🤣

Hi jenko, love the videos! I have been driving for around 3 years but am new to tramping. How do you go with parking when pulling up late? I have been told the later you finish the harder it is to park up. Is this true or just fear mongeres? Thanks! And drive safe! Keep up the good work. Hi Martin, seems the drivers hours need to be reviewed. 9 hours a day is a bit short 10 hrs would be more reasonable each day and say if you do a sixth shift may be a 9 hour day would be adequate. Messaging a driver in Australia he said they can drive up to 14 hours a day with an overall working day of 17 hours with 7 hours off, now that is along day😮
I feel your pain I had to jack knife a 45ft box blindside with suzies off down an alley way off a narrow street with the usual parked cars, bollards and pedestrians walking behind you. I suppose it's what we're paid for hahaha.....
