- If you are appearing for IIM interviews, then tell me about yourself or introduce yourself is the most common question that you can be asked. So while doing your GDPI preparation, it is very important to prepare for the tell me about yourself answer so that you can introduce yourself well and it sets the base for your IIM interview
In this video, I detail the 3 steps for tell me about yourself - Greetings, Basic Details and Additional Details - It is very effective in ensuring that you make the interviewers ask questions that you are comfortable with in the interview. Especially during MBA interviews / IIM Interviews, most of your questions will be based on your profile and your introduction only, so make sure you prepare well for this

You are absolutely right what you told about "things should not be included". People always uses some qouets just to present themselves unique but it will backfire. I joined an online coaching for WAT PI and the people there always insist on students to be unique. I have seen one case where student mentioned hobbies as cooking. Then the mentor told that to rephrase it as " i am interested in cooking and did some experiments but it ended up in bad stomach". Mentor insisted that u would bring humour to the table". Just think of it how lame it would be. Professors are the one who should bring humour not the student. Just be yourself and don't try to be unique just because others are trying to.

Hello Ananta, my question is if we have work ex that is not related to management and related fields, can we still talk about it or not. Mine was architecture so I was handling projects from scratch till it was built.

It's good for knowledge and you can buy certificates as well to add in your resume. Buy only relevant courses from domain you are interested in

Yes. If not for anything else then just for the experience for any interviews you might give next year. Take the interviews seriously and convert them all.

If there is something interesting you want to talk about, then can include it. But do not try to forcefully put it unless there is something you want to stress on and talk in detail
