- बीते साल सात अक्टूबर को इसराइल पर हमास के हमले के बाद से इसराइल ने पहली बार उत्तरी ग़ज़ा की मेन क्रॉसिंग खोल दी है. ताकि वहां मानवीय मदद पहुंच सके. संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने चेतावनी दी है कि ग़ज़ा की 70 फ़ीसद से ज़्यादा आबादी भयानक भुखमरी का सामना कर रही है. लगातार अंतरराष्ट्रीय दबाव और लंबे वक़्त से राहत एजेंसियों की मांग के बाद इसराइल ने आख़िरकार एरेज़ क्रॉसिंग खोल दी है.
