- This was going to be a vlog from one day, then it was going to be a vlog from 2 days, and it ended up covering 3 days. Ha! But, you get to see a lot of life happen. We do meal planning, Costco shopping, meal prep, and a whole bunch of randomness. BUT, you do get to see the completion of one project, and we LOVE how it turned out!

My husband and I buy the large bag of romaine at Sams. We cut up a big package and chop for daily salads. Other bunches I cut the stem part off and store the leaves in a ziplock bag.I use the leaves for lettuce on sandwiches or breadless sandwiches, or add to stir fry. Adam could have added extra lettuce to his packaged salad.

In our new fridge dont use soda. The crisper drawers etc seem to help and we dont notice odors unless we put fish or something in there.

ALSO, for the romaine - we buy the big packs from Sam’s also and eat side salads with every lunch to use it up! Maybe try that?
Also side note, we eat WAY BIGGER SALAD BASES than Sherri, like an entire bowlful. So that uses it quicker than her little Sherri portions! :)

I would use the extra romaine by eating salads at dinner too. Also the leaves make good wraps and tacos instead of shells. 😊
Can’t believe how short the queues in Costco on a Sunday were! I avoid Costco on the weekends here in Australia, just because of how bad the queues are.

Love the canvas! Sorry the Seahawks lost to the Lions. As a Michigander, I have cheered for the Lions for years with no success - so I'm happy to see them win games these days. Detroit teams are having their time - our Tigers won the wildcard too. As for baking soda, I firmly believe they say 30 days just to sell more baking soda. 😀

I change the baking soda every 6 months. Talk about the cost of groceries, just left Walmart and it was over $300. There was no bread, paper towels and toilet paper ( due to the hurricane, I’m in S.C. ).

I change the baking soda when I see it....which is never. There's always something blocking it. Guess it's usefulness has expired. 😮😮😮 Always use kidney beans in our Indiana Chilli. Learned how to make it at Ball State University when I should have been studying.

A way to use up the romaine that isn't salad: grill it! Usually its a simple preparation with olive oil, lemon juice, seasoning, Parmesan. Ask the Google for recipes!🥬🥬

THIRTY DAYS?? What? We moved into a new house in 2022, so I’m pretty sure I replaced it then, but I haven’t replaced it since then. So I’m definitely an every couple of years at best kinda girl.
