Dayummm! These look ridiculous!!! Mattel really nailed the wheel choices on these. Love them all, but the Merc and Skyline sets are definitely my favourites.
The red R32 will go nicely with the black one from F&F and the white box-set version! Can't wait to find them! (Or more likely pay triple the price of some scalper after not being able to get them)

The Mercedes-Benz one is probably the only "must buy" for me since it's the only one where I don't already have the older Car Culture release (the slight differences between the older and newer versions aren't significant enough for me to want to buy them again all that much) although I do admit that the stock red/maroon Skyline is tempting. But I'm in Canada and I'm skeptical that I'll ever see these at Walmart.

These sets are 🤬 awesome!! That's why it sucks that it's a half-hour drive from my house to the nearest Target. However I was able to hit a bunch of them in the Salt Lake Valley today and was lucky enough to find the Merc set. I unfortunately have the sneaking suspicion that I'll have to resort to 🤬 evilBay for the other two, unless I get OBSCENELY lucky. Great vid as always Lamley!
My heart broke when you mentioned Target exclusive, but mended once you explained that availability for Canada would be handled by Walmart. 😌 Crisis averted!
Canadian Tire sometimes gets in Target exclusives in for the Christmas season so, if you can't find them at Walmart, you may want to check your local Canadian Tire store's inventory on the Canadian Tire website starting around mid-October.

@J I was just there 2 hours ago and there were 2 sets of each on the pegs. I passed on them again. The Porsche, Skyline and Trans-am IDs were all gone from yesterday. I grabbed one of each up immediately

Funny thing, I am never able to find the hot releases. However I swung by the local Target after work, and there they were. Only really wanted the GT-Rs, but of course I had to get the Benzes and the trucks too. Thanks Hot Wheels.

Love these cars butttt I really don’t like the HKS color way on the skyline though personally I didn’t like the van premium they did with it either and honestly thinking about the civic I only really like the super and I CBA to pay 30+ for it.. buttt these things look so freaking crazy the quality and detail is nuttsssss. The stance on that truck is perfect. They really killed these. Also 2022 did you see those new 5 pack premiums I think it’s something like “garage” or something like thay
I'm going to be that guy: These do not feel up to par w/ other premiums. I got the Skyline set just for the red R32 and that one felt decent. Both felt less hefty than other premiums and the HKS felt almost cheap as the livery is grainy and almost faded, and compared to the previous version the livery seems less detailed and fine and the clear coat is almost nonexistent where you can feel every bit of that livery. The previous car culture has a perfectly smooth clear coat and both the HKS and red R32 had a very rough and thin feeling clear coat.
Awesome cars. I am NOT one to really complain very often about hot wheels. But It’s kind of frustrating that each one has a repeat. It’s literally just a way to get another $13 out of you, because they know people will want the new release. It is what it is though I guess!
Mattel making it easier for me not to spend money. Just re releases in different packaging. Mattel are becoming more like Hasbro with their figures, especially star wars. Same old #### different day
Also, like star wars, hard to find, at least in my area. I haven't seen a car culture (other than team transports) more recent than Wild Terrain and the only reason Ive seen that one is because a few of the models pegwarmed, and in fact, one 959 is still at my local target.

The wheels dont fit on the 280 SEL. Too much pimp my ride. The old school rims from the Modern classics version nailed it.
