People say that SSJGod isn't as memorable as SSJ transformation but think of it like this. Super Saiyan is filed by anger and rage, which makes sense as too why there'd be a lot of screaming. The same for 2 and 3 Super saiyan 4 is filed by savergry and the mixing of logic and destruction, which is why it's so intense and destructive Super Saiyan God is goku becoming a deity, someone filed by the pure hearts of others, which is why the scene is so calming, yet beautiful. At least that's how I've always seen it

Beerus bodied ssj3 Goku in 2 hits, meaning Goku was way less than beerus' power. He was like 2-4% of his power. If ssj4 us 10x stronger than ssj3, than ssj4 is like 20-40% of beerus' power. This means ssg dominates a ssj4 since god is 70% of his power. If we use Beerus in Super, than ssj4 would be so much weaker since ssg didnt fare to well, since beerus was wsy frickin stronger.
I think because people think a recolor counts as a simple design and Toriyama is known for simple designed characters such as final form Frieza or any form of Buu.

SSJG/SSJGB for me The SSJG transformation in Super wasn't just hold hands and boom. Did you forget how the seasons and time change rapidly? Causing Gold Clouds revealing the sky as night and day passing by very quickly? Also while the other transformations shows how destructive there are, SSJG is the opposite. It shows more control, tranquility, and a burning passion. Also unlike the other transformations, you don't seem to lose energy and could still keep fighting while others you'd be exausted.
I agree, SSJG/SSGSS/SSJB (or whatever you prefer to call it) seems to be a more controlled and focused dosage of power output as opposed to just an uncontrollable burst of energy and power like the other Super Saiyan forms are. However, as shown in Resurrection F, doesn't SSJB take a considerable toll on the user? I know Frieza's transformation was draining him drastically and although Goku was holding up better than him, he also seemed to be exhausted from his power output.
The Last Trap God I think he was more exhausted from the battle itself than using much of his power. You see that's why they said the SSJ transformation is more effective. When Goku was facing against Cell,he was exhausted, but was still in SSJ regardless. It's the same factor with SSJGB since it is SSJ but with mastered God ki.

It was just so great listening to all of you guys in the same video. Almost brings a tear to my eye, but it's definitely dope to see unity and collaboration in the dragon ball community. Glad to see everyone come together and get along to bring great content. There's always tension in the anime community and the Dragon Ball sub-community is no stranger to that tension. This was like a sigh of relief in the community. An icebreaker. I'd love to see more videos like this.
I think ssj4 was the better route to take. I just feel it would of flowed better an seemed more of a natural transformation. To me it makes sense that their tail would grow back.
super saiyan 4 is just cooler it has more moves it looks cooler and you have to be a true saiyan but in blue your pretty much just another transformation

Even if Beerus was 4000x SSJ3 Goku from super he would only be even with SSJ4 Goku and he had no reason to lie to Vegeta the only reason he lied to Goku is to push Goku further and further but Beerus already knew Vegeta didn't have anything more to give.

Until Akira Toriyama himself says that Goku in his God form is stronger than a ssj4 then all of the people who claim ssjg is stronger are wrong. If Goku really is 4000 times stronger than Goku in Z that means he would be able to do the same shit Beerus and Goku did in episode 12. Gt has terrible feats, but based on how strong Goku is he should be equal to or stronger than characters in DBS and BOG. That's just me.
Super Sayian 4 looked so Bad Ass!!! He loooked like the ultimate form!! Supersaiyan God, it was weak, but I liked the fact, they put normal Goku on a Divine version, Still SSJ 4 much better. SSG blue, it just stinks... it the same supersayian with light blue hair... I get it, maybe to get Goku on SSJ 2, and 3 on God Mode too? But it is so lazy, I don't like this transformation at all, and also made me dislike the Supersayiann God too. Super Saiyan 4 is the best by far!!! I don't like they deleted this version...

SS4 is obviously the more badass form. The story line in gt has nothng to do with which one looks better. SS4 looks more sinister. SS god is just regular Goku with blue hair. There's no creativity in it.
I hope they introduce ssj4 into DB Super as a "primal ssj" or "original ssj". Maybe they can give it to Gohan and make him useful again. They could say the reason for Gohan's dormant power is his connection to the oozaru or something like that and have this new ssj be a furthering of his mystic power.

This collab is FANTASTIC! The people, the discussion and everything! I love you all and this was a hell of an amazing video guys, great job and i hope to see more collab/discussions and all the good stuff too about Dragonball! Now I love the way SSJ4 came about better then SSJG and i do prefer the look of SSJ4 over SSJGSS(SSJB) but i do have a strongmixed emotions on my love and dislike of SSJG design. I Love how its a pure sleek version of the base form but it just doesnt give off much "pizzazz" if you will lol and even before DBS startered and no matter what was said i always liked to think "Possibly Super and GT coincide with eachother in one timeline but of what we have had to our knowledge in the time since, obviously that appears to be incorrect. But i must say i have a love for them all, i honestly prefer the name SSJGSS over SSJB even though i have been referring it to SSJB because everyone i watch talk about it refers to it as that lol but yeah so power wise is a VERY DIFFICULT thing to grasp, for me anyway, when it comes to the 2. I Do think that SSJ4 Gogeta (possibly Goku or Vegeta seperatly but less likely) can go hand to hand with Beerus but with Beerus still being the inevitable victor. I love Dragon ball GT much more than Dragon ball Super because it number 1, has a better story line, and number 2, it has powerful characters. Super Saiyan 4 is one of the best super saiyan forms I have ever seen and it's durability is much greater than any other saiyan transformation.
It amazes that some people still believe that GT characters can beat characters in Super. The fight between Beerus vs SSJG Goku in Super was pretty self-evident that they're vastly superior than all of the GT characters combined.
um the fight between ssjg and beerus when the universe shake thats all that happened it did not blow up like they said it was going to. and besides we never saw omega shenron fight anyone close to his power.

Reasons why I like Super Saiyan Blue - 1. It's a super saiyan basic form. No stupid horns, spikes, long hair, black eyes etc. Just a serene looking form that packs a wallop. 2. It's a clear step up from a basic super saiyan. Goku and Vegeta go through all the basic SSJ forms and see diminishing returns in both power and stamina. They learn how to fully master their bodies and energy and discover an entirely new side of the SSJ evolution. Their Ki changes in nature and the form takes on a different colour. 3. It is achieved through TRAINING! That thing they USED TO DO! Reasons why I don't like SJJ4 - 1. It's pulled out of Toei's ass.... Just out of nowhere. "you can get stronger with a tail!" and then gold monkey and then out of nowhere, pop! A red furred black haired monkey man. It doesn't follow any basic pattern of building forms like any other SSJ form. It's even pulled out of Old Kai's ass like he should have known this all along. WTF!? 2. It's nothing like any other SSJ form. Every SSJ form has been a Ki upgrade from within that allowed a Saiyan to achieve levels never before thought possible. One side effect was how the Ki affected their hair and eyes. SSJ4 is a body change that comes with different powers. This would have been fine had they gone from a regular oozaru into a mini-oozaru and THEN went SSJ on top of it. There would have been a clear fucking progression! It would have also made sense had it been an ACCIDENT! 3. It took no work to attain... at all. In fact, there's no reason why Goku nor Vegeta couldn't have gotten this form back in Android saga. If Old Kai knew about this shit beforehand, it'd have been used against Buu. Goku achieves it by transforming into an oozaru (thanks to old kai) and then by chance manages to change again. Vegeta just gets hit by Bulma's machine... fucking boring! At least in Super, we're going through the steps of Goku and Vegeta training hard with Whis, learning how to sense God Ki and also learning how to fight and transform without letting any Ki flow out. This is something the older Dragonball and Z episodes had. Progression due to trials and hardship. Watching Gohan become SSJ2 for the first time was a hell of a lot more satisfying than seeing Goku become a SSJ4. SSJ3 was kinda just sprung on us without ever seeing it but nobody bitches about that quite the way they do about SSB. Never mind that the movie is meant to be no more than a snippet. Not meant to explain much of anything. DBS is where it's at. Where we see Goku and Vegeta trained under a mentor of Gods to become something greater than they ever were before! That's why SSB beats SSJ4. Even if I kinda like the appearance of 4, the idea is just so ridiculous. Again, a compact oozaru that can go SSJ would have made more sense and looked better. But right now, we're getting something better than GT ever was. Heck, I don't even hate GT. It was dumb in places and the writing wasn't great (2x17 = ssj4!??!?!?) but Super isn't much better (Tagoma stronger than Piccolo!?!?!) neither was Z (man-made androids stronger than a super saiyan!?!?!?) The show's always been full of simplicity, eccentricities and controversies. We can all agree that SSJ4 looks awesome. So does SSB.
Regen Factor? Pressure Points? WHAT!? Goku NEVER USED ANY OF THOSE! They all talk HYPOTHETICALLY how God Goku would stomp SSJ4 when he uses Whis moves... but fact is HE CAN'T! If he could use this, he would already have done so in the battle against Freezer in RoF. Vegeta didn't used something like that either! I also don't get when it was said that Base Goku is now nearly as strong as his red God Form? his Red God Form made Bills already use 70% of his full power, so if his base is THAT STRONG his BLUE Form should be way stronger, BUT Bills already said that even goku and Vegeta together would still not be able to defeat Bills, which means the blue Form could not be AS STRONG as people think it is! Also, I agree that Shenlong being afraid of Bills would not mean that the Shadow Dragons are afraid as well. I mean, it is not like original Shenlong is THAT strong, or do I have to remember that King Piccolo OBLITERATED HIM? Not killed, but OBLITERATED! There was nothing but I think an arm that was left. And what is King Piccolo? A NOTHING! Also, here is some theory I have... what if SSJ4 is able to get GOD KI by FIGHTING a God? Think about it! Goku has the ability to absorb attacks (tough mostly unintentional) and if they are evil, even change the polarisation from the attack from evil, to good. WHAT IF Goku absorbs an attack that is full of God Ki? Then Shit is gonna get real! SSJ4 + God Ki? He Rofl Stomps Blue Goku! Anyway, enough with my theories. Super Timeline Goku, to the point WE know so far, is NOT able to use Pressure Point attacks or anything else that makes with so Special. Neither does Vegeta. Also, Blue GOku actually GOT HIS ASS HANDED TO HIM BY GOLDEN FREEZER until Freezer began to lose his energy. Why I'm saying that? Because of the discussion that SSJ4 Goku was not the strongest in his universe, and in fact, was not able to beat ANY of the major villains without help or tricks. but the same is Blue Goku. He is unable to beat Bills, Whis AND GOLDEN FREEZER AS LONG AS HE HAS FULL POWER! He really only stomped him because he was weakened from his OWN energy consumption. Blue Goku and SSJ4 have more in common than most people think.
ssg goku does have a regen factor did you not see him regenarate the FUCKING HOLE IN HIS STOMACH and goku faced beerus in his ssj state not base but he did absorbe some of the power which ALREADY makes him way stronger than majin buu and ssj3 goku then base goku in gt

In my honest opinion, SSGSS Goku would most likely beat SS4. But I do think that SS4 would be a good match. Though if it were with Gogeta instead, SSGSS Goku would get Rekt. but that's just me.

Awesome collab! This was a great debate and hope to see more in the future. I prefer ssj4 in design and its stronger with math. The feats go to ssgss in strength and you guys bought up good points in Goku's training with Whis and healing factor.

Anthony Craft I consider recolor to be rushed. There's nothing new about it. It's just the original transformations with a different color. They could've at least come up with a different hairstyle or something even if they wanted to keep it simplistic.
You can argue all day long, but at the end of the day, characters are as strong as the writers of the show want them to be. The real debate should be on how they look. I personally think the detailed/creative SSJ4 design looks way better than the lazy SSJGod design.
I'm going to be honest, GT characters SHOULD be stronger, but they aren't, they've never shown the power to destroy the universe with punches, while Syn Shinlong could've destroyed the universe with time, he couldn't destroy it with punches. I'm going to be honest Power Scaling pisses me off, because all you people think that Power sailing makes more of a difference in an arguments than feats do! One of Syn Shinlongs most impressive attaks ONLY DESTROYED A CITY! Which is something that Nappa did with ease... do you want to know what that means? That Syn Shinlong is only about as strong as Nappa! Goku, and Beerus almost destroyed the entire Damn universe with punches, and they weren't going at 100%, do you want to know what that means? That if Goku went 100%, Goku could destroy the universe by clapping.

If we never saw SSJ4 Gogeta, or Syn Shinlong show that they can destroy the universe immediately, then we cannot assume that they can. Kevin Ecker Beerus and Goku colision is universal, not just 1 of them. and i said 4000x not 100x, and SSJ4 can do kaioken of a high degree, being able to do x10 kaioken with no sign of effect, so really is more like 40'000x, sure the universe has no size, but it wasnt even Beerus, also just cause you have better destructive feats, doesnt mean much, heck Mater Roshi> Whis with that logic, Whis has shown to have no destructive power, so really, in a way you might as well be saying Whis is less than Roshi, less than Yamcha, since they have shown at least some destructive power, heck Roshi>most of DBZ with that logic xD

I like SSG/SSGSS more than SS4, since i don't feel like ss4 is like the next "super saiyan". Like, it doesn't fit in. SS1 = golden hair SS2 = golden hair SS3 = golden hair SS4 = black hair. Doesn't fit in. But, if they gave it another name, like "super saiyan oozaru", or something, i would've loved it much more than ssg/ssgss.
I did like how the shadow dragons were made, they pretty much took the idea DBZ movie of long forgotten sins stored away, acidently released an creating janemba and used it for the GT shadow dragons.

Beerus bodied ssj3 Goku in 2 hits, meaning Goku was way less than beerus' power. He was like 2-4% of his power. If ssj4 us 10x stronger than ssj3, than ssj4 is like 20-40% of beerus' power. This means ssg dominates a ssj4 since god is 70% of his power.
If we use Beerus in Super, than ssj4 would be so much weaker since ssg didnt fare to well, since beerus was wsy frickin stronger.
I think because people think a recolor counts as a simple design and Toriyama is known for simple designed characters such as final form Frieza or any form of Buu.

Super Saiyan 4 would of been a better path to go by than SSJ god in my opinion.
SSJ4 easily mostly because looking at lore and looking at the saiyan primal nature, SSJ4 just took into effect just the way a saiyan is suppose to be. Even gokus attitude changed when he was in SSJ4. Hell if you think about it the SSJ4 would have been a better form for super saiyan god just because it mixes saiyans with part of their true nature.

The SSJG transformation in Super wasn't just hold hands and boom. Did you forget how the seasons and time change rapidly? Causing Gold Clouds revealing the sky as night and day passing by very quickly? Also while the other transformations shows how destructive there are, SSJG is the opposite. It shows more control, tranquility, and a burning passion. Also unlike the other transformations, you don't seem to lose energy and could still keep fighting while others you'd be exausted.
I agree, SSJG/SSGSS/SSJB (or whatever you prefer to call it) seems to be a more controlled and focused dosage of power output as opposed to just an uncontrollable burst of energy and power like the other Super Saiyan forms are. However, as shown in Resurrection F, doesn't SSJB take a considerable toll on the user? I know Frieza's transformation was draining him drastically and although Goku was holding up better than him, he also seemed to be exhausted from his power output.
The Last Trap God I think he was more exhausted from the battle itself than using much of his power. You see that's why they said the SSJ transformation is more effective. When Goku was facing against Cell,he was exhausted, but was still in SSJ regardless. It's the same factor with SSJGB since it is SSJ but with mastered God ki.

Until Akira Toriyama himself says that Goku in his God form is stronger than a ssj4 then all of the people who claim ssjg is stronger are wrong. If Goku really is 4000 times stronger than Goku in Z that means he would be able to do the same shit Beerus and Goku did in episode 12. Super Sayian 4 looked so Bad Ass!!! He loooked like the ultimate form!! Supersaiyan God, it was weak, but I liked the fact, they put normal Goku on a Divine version, Still SSJ 4 much better. SSG blue, it just stinks... it the same supersayian with light blue hair... I get it, maybe to get Goku on SSJ 2, and 3 on God Mode too? Now I love the way SSJ4 came about better then SSJG and i do prefer the look of SSJ4 over SSJGSS(SSJB) but i do have a strongmixed emotions on my love and dislike of SSJG design. I Love how its a pure sleek version of the base form but it just doesnt give off much "pizzazz" if you will lol and even before DBS startered and no matter what was said i always liked to think "Possibly Super and GT coincide with eachother in one timeline but of what we have had to our knowledge in the time since, obviously that appears to be incorrect. But i must say i have a love for them all, i honestly prefer the name SSJGSS over SSJB even though i have been referring it to SSJB because everyone i watch talk about it refers to it as that lol but yeah so power wise is a VERY DIFFICULT thing to grasp, for me anyway, when it comes to the 2. Reasons why I like Super Saiyan Blue -
1. It's a super saiyan basic form. No stupid horns, spikes, long hair, black eyes etc. Just a serene looking form that packs a wallop.
2. It's a clear step up from a basic super saiyan. Goku and Vegeta go through all the basic SSJ forms and see diminishing returns in both power and stamina. They learn how to fully master their bodies and energy and discover an entirely new side of the SSJ evolution. Their Ki changes in nature and the form takes on a different colour.
3. It is achieved through TRAINING! That thing they USED TO DO!
Reasons why I don't like SJJ4 -
1. It's pulled out of Toei's ass.... Just out of nowhere. "you can get stronger with a tail!" and then gold monkey and then out of nowhere, pop! A red furred black haired monkey man. It doesn't follow any basic pattern of building forms like any other SSJ form. It's even pulled out of Old Kai's ass like he should have known this all along. WTF!?
2. It's nothing like any other SSJ form. Every SSJ form has been a Ki upgrade from within that allowed a Saiyan to achieve levels never before thought possible. One side effect was how the Ki affected their hair and eyes. SSJ4 is a body change that comes with different powers. This would have been fine had they gone from a regular oozaru into a mini-oozaru and THEN went SSJ on top of it. There would have been a clear fucking progression! It would have also made sense had it been an ACCIDENT!
3. It took no work to attain... at all. In fact, there's no reason why Goku nor Vegeta couldn't have gotten this form back in Android saga. If Old Kai knew about this shit beforehand, it'd have been used against Buu. Goku achieves it by transforming into an oozaru (thanks to old kai) and then by chance manages to change again. Vegeta just gets hit by Bulma's machine... fucking boring!
At least in Super, we're going through the steps of Goku and Vegeta training hard with Whis, learning how to sense God Ki and also learning how to fight and transform without letting any Ki flow out. This is something the older Dragonball and Z episodes had. Progression due to trials and hardship. Watching Gohan become SSJ2 for the first time was a hell of a lot more satisfying than seeing Goku become a SSJ4.
SSJ3 was kinda just sprung on us without ever seeing it but nobody bitches about that quite the way they do about SSB. Never mind that the movie is meant to be no more than a snippet. Not meant to explain much of anything. DBS is where it's at. Where we see Goku and Vegeta trained under a mentor of Gods to become something greater than they ever were before!
That's why SSB beats SSJ4. Even if I kinda like the appearance of 4, the idea is just so ridiculous. Again, a compact oozaru that can go SSJ would have made more sense and looked better. But right now, we're getting something better than GT ever was. Heck, I don't even hate GT. It was dumb in places and the writing wasn't great (2x17 = ssj4!??!?!?) but Super isn't much better (Tagoma stronger than Piccolo!?!?!) neither was Z (man-made androids stronger than a super saiyan!?!?!?)
The show's always been full of simplicity, eccentricities and controversies. We can all agree that SSJ4 looks awesome. So does SSB.
How sick would it be if in the new tournament coming up if after teaching universe 6 sajin how to go ssj he comes back with achieving ssj4
Regen Factor? Pressure Points? WHAT!? Goku NEVER USED ANY OF THOSE! They all talk HYPOTHETICALLY how God Goku would stomp SSJ4 when he uses Whis moves... but fact is HE CAN'T! If he could use this, he would already have done so in the battle against Freezer in RoF. Vegeta didn't used something like that either! I also don't get when it was said that Base Goku is now nearly as strong as his red God Form? his Red God Form made Bills already use 70% of his full power, so if his base is THAT STRONG his BLUE Form should be way stronger, BUT Bills already said that even goku and Vegeta together would still not be able to defeat Bills, which means the blue Form could not be AS STRONG as people think it is!
Also, I agree that Shenlong being afraid of Bills would not mean that the Shadow Dragons are afraid as well. I mean, it is not like original Shenlong is THAT strong, or do I have to remember that King Piccolo OBLITERATED HIM? Not killed, but OBLITERATED! There was nothing but I think an arm that was left. And what is King Piccolo? A NOTHING!
Also, here is some theory I have... what if SSJ4 is able to get GOD KI by FIGHTING a God?
Think about it! Goku has the ability to absorb attacks (tough mostly unintentional) and if they are evil, even change the polarisation from the attack from evil, to good. WHAT IF Goku absorbs an attack that is full of God Ki? Then Shit is gonna get real! SSJ4 + God Ki? He Rofl Stomps Blue Goku!
Anyway, enough with my theories. Super Timeline Goku, to the point WE know so far, is NOT able to use Pressure Point attacks or anything else that makes with so Special. Neither does Vegeta. Also, Blue GOku actually GOT HIS ASS HANDED TO HIM BY GOLDEN FREEZER until Freezer began to lose his energy. Why I'm saying that? Because of the discussion that SSJ4 Goku was not the strongest in his universe, and in fact, was not able to beat ANY of the major villains without help or tricks. but the same is Blue Goku. He is unable to beat Bills, Whis AND GOLDEN FREEZER AS LONG AS HE HAS FULL POWER!
He really only stomped him because he was weakened from his OWN energy consumption. Blue Goku and SSJ4 have more in common than most people think.
ssg goku does have a regen factor did you not see him regenarate the FUCKING HOLE IN HIS STOMACH and goku faced beerus in his ssj state not base but he did absorbe some of the power which ALREADY makes him way stronger than majin buu and ssj3 goku then base goku in gt

In my honest opinion, SSGSS Goku would most likely beat SS4. But I do think that SS4 would be a good match. Though if it were with Gogeta instead, SSGSS Goku would get Rekt. but that's just me.
