Have you looked into rrc'ing the grab itself? Maybe it's a low level strategy, but it's been an easy way for me to get combos and wall breaks from mid screen. I'm sure there's a reason I don't see better players doing it
On top of the scaling as Caulin mentioned, a lot of players also like to keep the corner instead of wall breaking. I think it's only worth doing this if you know it's going to kill or if you know that you have the advantage in neutral after wall breaking so you can take full advantage of the positive bonus.
To keep it clear damage apropiation is 50% rather than 75%. Damage scaling is EXTREMLY low after a grab, unless you know is going to kill I wouln't recommend doing it, specially if it's not a wallbreak. Every character has 420 HP then is reduced by defense and after that there is Guts. Then so if you are doing 50% of your damage(most attacks to 25 in that range) and then 50% of 25 is like 13 damage, it's really not worth it. Unless you do it at full HP, but it would be hard to get Tension.
