Crazy that Tim takes the Tenor and Chance takes the Bass....High Tenor is Austin Brown. This song is a real "ear worm". You can't get it out of your head! This is one of my all time favorites! Thanks Guys!!
Watching your faces as Tim opens up that song in his tenor voice was priceless. And yes, that was Tim all the way through. In fact; during a interview Tim said that he only used his chest voice until the 00:28 mark, before jumping into his falsetto voice. Now that Chance, who is also a baritone/bass man, has joined the group, it free's Tim up to show more of his 5+ octave range. Chance can't quite go as low as Tim yet, but give him time. And yes, Tim's working on stretching that 5 octave to a 6 octave range. Not there yet, but he's working on it. Adam's beatboxing has always, always been IMO-so extrodinary compared to so many others. And Rob's voice is just so soothing. Austin is the high tenor, and he always does an amazing job, too. Thanks guys! Can you do 'In The Blood' next?
Each of the guys has a moment to shine in this video. Austin kills his high tenor parts, Rob oh my Rob who couldn't fall in love with that voice. Chance showing off the low end of his 4-octave range, Adam what can I say about a man that is a superhuman beatboxer and then there's Tim showing everyone that his upper range is as good as his lower and he can sustain it. I think that's why so many of us love it- each one of the guys has a chance to show off just why they are so special. Home Free is just jammed packed with talent. BTW Tim said he didn't go into falsetto until 0:28. Before the video came out there was much debate about who sang the opening. Those of us who have followed Tim's pre-Home Free solo career knew it was Tim but some people just wouldn't believe it.
Marg Fried I was confused the first times but when I really listening and heard the genuine voice of Tim, even it was a strange octave for him I could hear his pronounce of some word and sound. From that time it was no doubt any moore. This is one of many reason what HF and specially Tim is my favorite.
👍😀👍 It was so much fun watching you get confused (and then mindblown) by how the guys switched parts in this arrangement. Chance singing bass, Tim singing tenor lead and tenor harmonies (and some baritone ones as well)... This is why I love HF so much. They're all so incredibly talented and have such amazing ranges and voices that they all can sing lead and switch parts whenever they feel like it, and they always sound amazing anyway. I just love that I never know what to expect from these guys because they know how to keep things fresh and interesting not only for their fans but also for themselves.
I'm sad you don't do these anymore. You are my favorites re: reactions to Home Free. I've rewatched your reactions many times. Watching you enjoying the music I love is healing.
The look on your face when Tim started. Austin is high tenor!! Great reaction. Now cover, In the Blood please. Love you guys and I missed you while you were gone, well I did see one of you. LMBO. GREAT!!!
It was great to see you be pleasantly stunned.. They all did phenomenal.. Thanks for recognizing Adam's beatbox talent.. Sometimes he seems to get lost in the background because that's what his part is, but he carries many of the songs..
Oh my the look on your faces when Tim started in the high register...just priceless! I knew you would be amazed by this! I was too when I first saw the video! Yes that was Tim actually singing it! I just saw them live in concert last night! Absolutely amazing! You need to see them if you ever get the chance to! We had a q&a session with them before the show...I asked Tim about his 5 octave range...if it was hard to train his voice to keep these ranges! He said no that he has always sang in these ranges because he was solo before joining HF! Thanks for the great reaction guys! Do In The Blood next! FYI they will be releasing another video soon!
Home Free never disappoints; absolutely stunning! And Marco and Ali .... your reaction to HF was great. I told you those A Capella fellas are so much more than just amazing singers. I love Austin's (high tenor) yodelling it's awesome. Thanks for doing another HF reaction and I look forward to more. Ciao.
Another great reaction! Thank you guys! Been waiting for you to react to this one, it's an amazing cover. An earworm for sure :) They're so amazingly talented, once again they outdid themselves.
Home Free recently released a new music video. It's a cover of a song originally by the Doobie Brothers band in the 1970s. The song title is "Listen To The Music". It's a fun, feel-good song and I promise you'll love it. Come on, give it a listen. I double-dog dare you😊!
Thank you! I was impatiently waiting to see your reaction to this one. And I agree 100%, Adam Rupp is always amazing, but he absolutely killed it here!
Was just watching (AGAIN!) a live concert version of Home Free singing Children, Go Where I Send Thee. (Of course, they did with Kenny Rogers for his album too.) But I thought of you guys because of the harmonies, the incredible bass lines, how unbelievable Adam's beatboxing is in this. And then there's Bob/Austin doing their great stuff and Chance taking the lead. Wow oh wow! Be sure to watch one of these versions if you haven't already. Talk about talent! You'll be wanting to stand up and dance to the beat of this as it intensifies right to the end! Thanks.
Another great reaction guys! The High Tenor singing the chorus is Austin. And Yes, that was Tim singing. Also Chance may have taken over the baritone position in the group but he is truly a bass. And please, please, please react to an Adam Rupp beatbox solo. Just type in that phrase and you will find many videos from their concerts (or go to my channel where I have 5 from their Oct and Nov concerts). In The Blood is also a must see for you.
Adam Chance is actually a low baritone. He can reach mid-low bass notes. He was Street Corner Symphony's bass singer, and surprisingly enough he was considered their weak link since he's not a true bass. But 1) he could EASILY be a lead in anything, and 2) him being there frees up everyone else, especially Tim.
@@B0SSNINE adam chance can chest G1s with great timbre, that sets him at bass my guy. low baritones can sometimes go that low but not with the timbre he has, and most low baritones bottom out at A1 - D2. im a low baritone and I bottom off at a C#2, so i have pretty good backing to put adam chance at bass and not low baritone.
Been waiting not very patiently for this guys! Yay you did it. Yes it’s Tim, are bass man can comfortably and then play with his 5+ octave range. Adam Chance while baritone used to sing for another a cappella group called Street Corner Symphony as there bass. Way before the video came out and the Timeless album had just released, the debate as to who took the first chorus was so intense! The looks and smiles all the way through, priceless. They did indeed kill it. The high tenor ( cute young guy long hair 🙂) that is Austin Brown, Adam Rupp ( beatboxer, co founder) Rob Lundquist, Tim Foust (bass) and Adam Chance goes by Chance. With Chance and his range Tim and his and having 2 that can blow sway on the bass, leaves Tim the ability like in this song to spend most of it up in the tenor baritone range the whole song. This, ever since the album release has been hands down my favorite “When you walk in “ close second. Now with the video, I have the song and the video on pretty much a constant loop. I think a lot of people do. Know you guys are busy but very happy you got to it as quickly as you did! ❤️😁
Guys, even if you don’t do a reaction to it, you will really enjoy Adam Rupp’s beatbox solo. It’s long but I’ve watched it more than once. Blows me away every time.
Great reaction. Home Free doesn't disappoint. With Christmas just around the corner I was hoping you could do a "Special" by reacting to Home Free's video of "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" and then a Live Performance of that same song back to back. Trust me you won't be disappointed.
Looks like the cat was there to say something about the video too! Great reaction, the bass doing tenor and the baritone going super bass got me too. It was amazing how they changed it up. Oh! and Adam Rupp's beatboxing was insane! The High tenor's name is Austin Brown. Looks like you remembered all of the others pretty well. Thanks again.
I love that everyone of them has a time to shine in this song. Tim showing his higher octave, Austin killing it with the high tenor lead, Chance as a baritone and a bassist, Adam slaying the beat as the "human drum kit", and Rob with his enchanting, soothing voice. And I really love their reaction to Tim's intro like.. "Excuse me Tim... Is that really you?" Haha
I was queuing up videos to watch, and when I saw this, I decided... yes this is the first to watch. I know you guys love Tim, and his high part is shocking and awesome and proves yet again how amazing he is.
Yeah -- same reaction as most everyone @ first... LOL It was good to watch (still is - so many times - more to come), listen to as well.... and still amazed!!! It's (they too) so so good. That, that, - that switch in rolls... and so clean/clear.
Tim Foust has a video from his doo-wop album "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay". He does all the tracks on it and his range is just amazing! Austin Brown has a video of "Georgia" as well as originals "Earn It" and "Rest of My Life". In a weird way, Covid was good for Home Free - it gave them all a chance to stretch their creativity and recharge their batteries.
Thanks for your review. I just watched In the Blood and this one, and I love the way you LISTEN, and then review. Great job, both of you. Oh...and...AUSTIN BROWN!!! ;-)
Love your reactions. The beat-boxer is Adam. If you haven't already, then check out their take on Do You Hear What I Hear? Adam arranged that and he is absolutely killing it. You will love the harmonies (and the range in notes) in that one. Its almost Christmas, so it would be the right time to do it.
i ABSOLUTELY LOVE this "revised" Home Free ... the quality of the voices and the multiple versions of harmony they can put together. Keeps you wondering who is singing which part ??? This song shows off another form of upper end harmony and Chance can pick up the bottom end allowing Tim freedom to roam in his amazing range. Please don't overlook that at times you hear the 5th voice when Adam becomes a singer and fills in another layer ... they have matured and -- I think -- found their voices.
Just bumped into your video. You are both so funny, handsom too. Your facial expressions say it all. Tim surprised be too, knew he could hit those high notes but, WOW! Chance blew me away with his bass and Rob, our Teddy Bear and Austin, never let us down. Perfection as usual and of course Adam, what this man can do with his beat boxing defys logic.
I am laughing to tears over your reaction to Tim! You are so not alone! There were arguments on their fan page about who it was before the video came out! It was truly hysterical how many jaws dropped when Tim verified it was him! I am currently binge watching your reactions to Home Free and it is such a pleasure gentleman to watch you guys discover Home Free!
This was just well sung all around. It's one that you can't get out of your head... Thank you for the great reaction! You still have to react to The Butts Remix !! LOL ^_^
loved your reaction. a lot of us were doing the same thing when we first heard the song. please react to in the blood, the butts remix, stop drop and roll, and 9-5 live and video.
Who knew that Tim could go that high for that long and do it so well. Great reaction, as always. Marco you were particularly impressed by Adam's beat boxing so you have got to do a reaction of his "drum" solo he does on their tour appearances. I have seen several slightly different ones but they are all fan cams. This is the cleanest one I have seen yet. It is Absolutely, Totally, Freaking AMAZING. This is the link: "Drum Solo" by Adam Rupp the "Freak of Nature" of Home Free @ the University of MN Morris 10-9-15
Cam does a great job with this catchy tune .... she is both great looking and great singer as well ..... these guys do your song AND THEY OWN IT - unfair to compare one against five voices ..... but, PHENOMENAL as they are JUST HOW IT IS !
I’m sure now that I’m watching all the reactors to this vid just to see the faces when A) Tim sings high notes and B) Chance blasts out the low note...good reaction guys
I bought the deluxe version of the album this song is on before the video came out and I have to admit... Even though I've been a Home Fry for years I was still surprised by the first few notes. The amount of talent and hard work in this band is just unbelievable.
The high tenor is Austin, the beat-boxer is Adam. And yep! That is Tim singing, he has a really crazy range. Chance was actually a bass for another group but he took the part as baritone in Home Free, but he is still a pretty good bass. Rob.... Well.... Rob is just a sweetheart with the voice of an angel! His voice is just soooo calming!
Mayday is an emergency procedure word used internationally as a distress signal in voice-procedure radio communications. It is used to signal a life-threatening emergency primarily by aviators and mariners, but in some countries local organizations such as firefighters, police forces, and transportation organizations also use the term. Convention requires the word be repeated three times in a row during the initial emergency declaration ("Mayday mayday mayday") to prevent it being mistaken for some similar-sounding phrase under noisy conditions, and to distinguish an actual mayday call from a message about a mayday call.
I knew you would flip out with Tim taking a high line. These guys are just pure talent and they are so amazing to hear. I agree with everyone else you have to do Butts Remix from Home Free. Another level of perfect awaits you. Also Castle on the Hill and Can’t stop this feeling is fantastic too. Austin really hits that high tenor so well and you are right Robs voice is so pure. Adam Rupp Drum solo is another video you should check out too. Thanks guys. Great reaction.
Austin Brown - High Tenor :) Adam Rupp - Beat boxer Adam Chance - Baritone/Bass Rob Lundquist - Tenor Tim Foust - Crazy range bass man! Thanks again - I hadn't seen or heard this song yet. Thank you so much!
You got to love when a group has a 5+ octave range bass and a 4+ octave baritone with that level of beatboxing. It can just drive a song so well for the tenors to bring it home. I miss the original baritone for his personality in the videos but Chance has the chops for sure to keep up with these guys.
Bass, Baritone, Tenor ...... Three register voice of Tim Foust is truly mind blowing. Adam Chance is the newest ( Now 7 years) member - replaced founder Chris Rupp ) - just thee Best there is. GBjj
I love all the A Capella groups so much, but I have a comment. You 2 told us Dimash fans, that you would react to every episode of The Singer and hoped there would be thousands of video's by Dimash. Now you have stopped. Do you anticipate reacting to more of his performances? I understand you having other requests and I enjoy those too. Nevertheless, I would just like to know if there will be more Dimash reactions or not? If not I will stop asking and enjoy what you do react to. Thanks!
You guys should react to Pentatonix’s latest music video, Deck The Halls, with their new bass Matt Sallee! And also Away In A Manger, both are from their new album A Pentatonix Christmas Deluxe. 💖
Saw them twice in concert. Best acapella group, period. I can understand not being into their style possibly, but they have the greatest talent between them. High tenor is Austin Brown.
One thing I like about Home Free is that they could all be lead, but they also enjoy taking and trading harmonies. They have epitomized the concept of group. Each has their moment, each enjoys supporting the others in their moment. I think they like listening to each other sing.
I love that you guys learned Rob and Chance's names before Austin hahaha I love every member but it's nice to see the guys that are more often overlooked being remembered ahead of Austin who so often shines the brightest
If you ever get a chance to listen to it, there is a karaoke track of Mayday with just the rhythm and backup that's available for Patreon supporters. I played it several times because it's so beautiful. Once again, great reaction. .... Guy
Guys, had to listen again. Love your reactions! But been missing you lately reacting to Home Free's latest new ones. The one a couple days ago, Woman, Amen/Female is another MUST Listent to! Hopefully you react to it soon. Thanks!
Crazy that Tim takes the Tenor and Chance takes the Bass....High Tenor is Austin Brown. This song is a real "ear worm". You can't get it out of your head! This is one of my all time favorites! Thanks Guys!!

Cindy Flory where is that interview???
Cindy Flory Chance can go lower
Where’s the interview? That would be pretty cool to watch

I love the stunned expressions! GREAT reaction! They totally hit it out of the park!!
The fact that you guys didn't stop the song every second to comment,u r number 1 im my book.
👍😀👍

Once again a great video. Could you do "In the Blood" by Home Free soon too please? Still my favourite :)
I 2nd that request
I was queuing up videos to watch, and when I saw this, I decided... yes this is the first to watch. I know you guys love Tim, and his high part is shocking and awesome and proves yet again how amazing he is.
I love watching people the first time they hear MayDay with Tim singing tenor. Then when Chance comes in, at the end, with that bass.
Yeah -- same reaction as most everyone @ first... LOL It was good to watch (still is - so many times - more to come), listen to as well.... and still amazed!!! It's (they too) so so good. That, that, - that switch in rolls... and so clean/clear.

MORE! MORE! Home Free! So much for you to see. Adam Rupp solo, Live things. PLEASE DO MORE HOME FREE. I'll watch everything you do with them.
Just bumped into your video. You are both so funny, handsom too.

Love the expression on you faces! A lot like mine! Great to hear you acknowlege Adam Rupp. He is really fenomenal.
I love Home Free! I also love that they switch up the vocal roles, amazing way to always keep sounds fresh & exciting!
Seriously do "What We Ain't Got"! The beatboxer is Adam btw guys.
Please review What We Ain't Got. You'll be blown away by the high tenor Austin.
Love to watch your reactions.
This was just well sung all around. It's one that you can't get out of your head... Thank you for the great reaction! You still have to react to The Butts Remix !! LOL ^_^
Sincere reaction, very enjoyable. Greetings from Holland.
loved your reaction. a lot of us were doing the same thing when we first heard the song. please react to in the blood, the butts remix, stop drop and roll, and 9-5 live and video.

You should check out "Do you hear what I hear". The best version of this Christmas song I have ever heard. Tim at his best.
I bought the deluxe version of the album this song is on before the video came out and I have to admit... Even though I've been a Home Fry for years I was still surprised by the first few notes.

If you really want to see Chance shine, watch I Can't Outrun You and Think a Little Less. Both amazing audio and visual, both featuring Chance! :)
YES CHANCE GET THAT NOTE!!! I LOVE HIM!!
Austin Brown - High Tenor :)
Adam Rupp - Beat boxer
Adam Chance - Baritone/Bass
Rob Lundquist - Tenor
Tim Foust - Crazy range bass man!
This song shows the great versatility of Tim Foust. With a 5 octave range he astounds everyone. More reasons to love Home Free.
Thanks that was Great!! Love ❤️ this so much 😍💕❤️. And Yes Tim can sing that High and super well, very Cool 😎 Please react to In the Blood
A lady named Cam wrote and recorded it....and every one of these guys sang it in her key. They are crazy talented.
Bass, Baritone, Tenor ...... Three register voice of Tim Foust is truly mind blowing. Adam Chance is the newest ( Now 7 years) member - replaced founder Chris Rupp ) - just thee Best there is. GBjj
> Tim- 5 octave range, Rob- Sweetest soulful tenor ever,
Chance- was bass for StreetCornerSymphony-Sing Off3,
Austin- Highest tenor goodness..PLZ REACT to INSANE
bboxer EVER: *Adam RuppFargo-2016* & a surprise on:
*Home Free 9 To 5 Beatboxing Breakdown* U wl❤! Thx!
Btw, 'Mayday' = internat'l distress signal: 'Emergency"!!
Your reaction to Tim's tenor is exactly the same as mine! Had to replay the track a few times when I first got the album to make sure.
One of my absolute favorites! Mayday means your sinking. Adam and Tim both have very high and low tones.
Thank you for your reaction!! ^i^
I love all the A Capella groups so much, but I have a comment. Thanks!
You two alway make me smile (just like Home Free). And yes please IN THE BLOOD next.

Stop-Wait-What?!
Me, the first time i heard it. And I've been a fan for years now.
The Harmony at 1:40 is amazing do folks know how hard it is to do that on the original video.
I knew this would be a fun reaction! Don't you just love the fun these guys have performing?
Please do "What We Ain;t Got" Just love, love that song !!!
Ron Lundquist is the guy with the glasses. He has such a beautiful voice! My brother used to call that type of voice a Lyric tenor. He was right!
It's Rob, not Ron!
I think they switched parts to expand and illustrate their vocal capacities. I was blown away by this song.
Chance was in Street Corner Symphony before he joined Home Free and he sang bass with them. He's a fully functional bass singer
I knew you two would go nuts when you watched this!
This is great. Whomever does their videos is fantastic
The term "May Day" is the international term for a ship in distress. Just in case people were unaware. Thank you for reacting to this.
Mayday is a call for help. Loved this song, Tim and Adam R killed it.
I just love home free🥳🥰😘😝
I love that you guys learned Rob and Chance's names before Austin hahaha I love every member but it's nice to see the guys that are more often overlooked being remembered ahead of Austin who so often shines the brightest
If you ever get a chance to listen to it, there is a karaoke track of Mayday with just the rhythm and backup that's available for Patreon supporters. I played it several times because it's so beautiful. Once again, great reaction. .... Guy
This is one of my favs of all their songs. Do Blue Ain't Your Color and In the Blood. please
Tim Foust has a five-octave range.
Guys, had to listen again. Love your reactions! But been missing you lately reacting to Home Free's latest new ones. The one a couple days ago, Woman, Amen/Female is another MUST Listent to! Hopefully you react to it soon. Thanks!
Thanks that was Great!! Love ❤️ this so much 😍💕❤️. Please react to In the Blood
Love it...One of you is in denial and the other is in love...
You guys should check out Tim and peter hollens doing sound of silence 😁
