    Informative video. As it ends, that is his segway into Indexed Life Insurance solutions that can be good for some people, but watch out for the outrageous amount of upfront fees charged during the first few years after policy issue.

      Stock market has gone straight up for last 10 years. You retired in a lucky timeframe and it bailed you out of a (likely) poor strategy. Congrats on good timing. Better to be lucky than good 👍
      Good thing you didn’t retire in 2000. Would probably have had to go back to work if you had no safety built into your plans

      You make an excellent point about timing. My thing is too many people try to retire on shoestring budgets or just enough money so everything has to go right.I also don't like it when financial planning is made to seem complex when it's actually very simple. retire with enough money so you never touch the principal or just keep working. I know that's difficult in a low rate environment to retirement is a luxury not a guarantee in my opinion

    What I didn’t hear was what happens if you have a defined benefits retirement of say 50k per year and quite a bit of cash in the bank?

    When talking about the deferred bucket withdrawal, are you referring to the standard deduction of filing single or filing married to not exceed the yearly withdrawal? Thank you

    Sir,
    In Canada, what are the Asset Mgmt. Companies or Fund house available, to purchase Direct Index Funds (without distributor commision) ?
    Can you suggest some Index Funds also for a Canadian ?
    Regards.

    Do u really need a tax deferred retirement account. I'm in my 30s and from the beginning I been investing in my roth. I dont see much reason to get a traditional 401k. And I dont make a lot of money. So I'm not even hitting my $6000 maximum contribution in my roth. So I dont see any reason to get a 401k. Anybody have an opinion

    • @EvansFinGroup
      @EvansFinGroup  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the Roth is an outstanding option by paying the taxes now as opposed to deferring them to a later date while we are still in some of the lowest tax brackets in the history of our country!

      You're literally pissed off he didn't pay his tax bill on a normal year when he took as little money as Amazon would give him for the sake of the rest of the company.... The guy donated millions of dollars essentially and you're mad about it. Stop being jealous and envious and get off your ass and go make your future instead of bitching that other people have more than you.
