Most disappointing goes to WoWMythic. It had great scripting and a strong launch for a Legion server but the truth is that it was hard to run an English server with Russian developers when you can’t communicate.
@@AB-su7jt yes and no. it was the same core and got all of the same updates but it had separate staff, 100% English and quality of life that uWoW didn’t have (like instant flight for free) there was also no gear or toon trading in the shop, purely cosmetic donations. It was basically all English players but you have to think that the populated servers for Legion are mostly Russian and Chinese and they like having donation shops for gear.
@@Fowoxirawr nah, it wasn’t a scam lol. not sure how a free server with no p2w can be a scam. the pop just declined after a couple months because 7.0 is not fun. they gave us free transfers to active servers and a bunch of free quality of life. the only money they took was mounts so I doubt they made any profit.

Felmyst was my biggest disappointment. Server was pretty much perfect, but gummy’s decision to make it 1x killed it. I never minded the 1x grind but it seems players don’t want to do that anymore
Dungeon exp was extremely low too, tho. So if someone wanted to grab some gear and get a dungeon, they'd take 30-80 minutes to get to a dungeon and finish it without any exp. The goal was to keep people out in Azeroth but he turned away the ppl that like to do dungeons.... which is like half the pop..
It was just so gloriously stupid. Most servers are x3 for a reason - at least half the server population is playing because of nostalgia and they are adults. Who not only probably did the leveling tens (if not hundreds) of times already but also have adult responsibilities. WoW is much funnier without some of the grind, blizzard wants players to grind because that means they spend more time and this means more subscriptions. Private servers make money because players are having fun!
Felsong had so much potential ... They didn't simp to the idea that a Blizz like legion was "perfect" and tried to Improve upon it ... would have worked too if not for the bugs that hounded its class and M+ dungeons....Guess we gotta keep waiting on Tauri for a good legion experience (thought it would be blizz like , which isn't good).
felsong just wasnt very profesionall in what they did. Terrible communication, friends gms getting free arcanocrystals, one guild getting banned for exploiting mythic azshara, one not... I can deal with some bugs, but if you know the administration just gonna fxck you over, why even play?
@@MEYTRIX yeah I got so used to having legendary converter that I absolutely forgot it isnt vanilla. So if you dont get the legendary which makes your spec viable you are fucked
I agree, I still had pretty realistic expectations for it, the 3-4k peaks during the first weeks were what I was expecting, but then the pay to win shenanigans etc ruined it
It was pretty subpar scripting-wise but I could’ve looked past a lot of the bugs if they didn’t lie about their cash-shop and just owned it the P2W model. Most of the servers I play on have cash shops for gear and I don’t even care anymore lol.
Most anticipated server must go to Tauri Legion server Everyone is pretty hyped for it, and i really doubt tauri will fail with that project . I would probably give it the Winner Award of 2024 in few months xD 😂

I would say Felsong hype was so huge and expectations were high, sadly the server itself with all the issues and bugs kinda ruined my legion experience. Still hoping for Firestorm DF realm to be good.
My top server picks would be Warmane because of how well-scripted it is and its longevity + high player count. Whitemane because I love Cataclysm and it's well populated and well scripted (maybe twinstar has better scripting, but as you said at this point it would be nit-picking, bugs exist even on retail) and Ascension because it is the only server that manages to bring a very fresh feeling to old content and it seems to cover all areas: updated graphics, mixing new content with old content (like mythic dungeons, or adding spells, cosmetic items & mounts from the newest expansions straight into it) as well as having a really good client where updating your game or even installing addons can be done straight from the client. Im honestly super impressed by how far Ascension has come and even though I'm not playing there currently I can 100% see myself coming back for a seasonal realm and thats the beauty of it, there will always be something to come back to. Similar to Warmane's WoTLK. The only thing that came close to how Ascension made OLD CONTENT feel new and fresh is Classic WoW's Season of Discovery. If you ask me I think Blizzard should take more than one page out of Ascension's book 😉
No one out of their mind is trying to make 3.3.5a anymore because Warmane completely dominates this category in term of stability and player count. Not even Blizzard can compete.

I think you will be able to go fresh with them on Cata pretty soon, and on WotLK even sooner, but idk about the scripting, haven't seen enough of Whitemane recently to be able to judge that

mystblade MOP server is great, but I'm NA and play around 200+ ping.. no fix found yet

What do you think is the easiest healer for a beginner in MOP pvp ?
Holy paladin is always the easiest, but on MoP also holy priest is extremely viable with a simpler playstyle
