One of my favorite parts of McKinnon's Hillary is that she doesn't disdain Bill. Poehler and Gasteyer played Hillary as a long-suffering wife. McKinnon comes off just as crazy as Bill, just in a different way. It's perfect for comedy because they're able to keep up with each other.

My thoughts exactly - they're both alphas and this way they don't overlap.
What I also find hilarious is the way she chooses to portray unapologetic joy when bonding and madness for power. To me, she's been far and away the best Hillary and I was so hyped she got the Emmy. I'm sure she will again next year - she killed the three debates and knocks every new character out of the park. Tina, Amy, Kristen... SNL is in great hands!

Really? Rand Paul announced that he would cut back on the CDC, National Institutes of Health,Food and Drug Administration, NASA, Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Parks and the Government Printing Office.

That's the SNL I grew up with (with Will Ferrell and Darrell Hammond as cast members. It was also around the time that FOX had MADtv as SNL's rival show).

Idiotic people just follow others right into the blue and red boxes, complaining all the while about the two terrible candidates they have to choose from, as if they have no choice but to label themselves and remain loyal to a specific side. It is ignorant to even pretend that one side is better than the other, because the fact of the matter is, both Democrats and Republicans are bullheaded and profoundly lacking in the ability to compromise and listen to/work with each other. Both sides need to do some serious re-evaluation to understand what is truly best for this country.
Second of all, I don't see how it's stupid to be a female Republican if you truly believe in the Republican ideals. There is nothing anti-women about Republicans.... they care primarily about fiscal responsibility and upholding constitutional rights and our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness without the government treading on them. If you're going to be wrong and only vote for one of the two main parties throughout your entire life, anyone who goes Republican has, in my opinion, chosen the lesser of the two evils. This is apparent in the fact that Democrats routinely fight for a woman's "right" to murder her living human offspring. I hear many liberals laugh at creationists for denying the scientific facts behind the creation of earth, and this is exactly how foolish pro-choice advocates are to intelligent people who actually respect the scientific facts about human fetal development. The truth of the matter is, roughly 80% of all abortions are done out of convenience for the mother, and this is frankly unacceptable, because our Declaration of Independence clearly states that those not-yet-born-but-still-very-much-alive Americans have a right to life. Abortion is the number one leading cause of genocide in this country, and any argument a person makes against that is scientifically irrelevant. (Which is why a person can be charged with double homicide if their murder victim was pregnant.) Not to mention the unspoken truth behind the Roe vs. Wade decision and how it was based on lies ("Roe" never had the abortion anyway and has since become a pro-life advocate) and the fact that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg admitted that it was passed in order to prevent certain unwanted populations from growing, i.e. minorities.
So I guess, TL;DR: *Only ignorant women vote Democrat if they really think that Republicans are anti-woman. In reality, the Democrats are... they're the ones making it easier for women to make these casual yet monumental mistakes instead of stressing sexual education.*
