In this video I take a look at the LCR-4T Component Tester - these are available for just €6, $8, £5.50 (including postage) on Aliexpress. I bought this tester from my own pocket for my own use and this is my independent opinion of the LCR-4T
The seller claims it can be used to test a wide range of components, including Resistors, Capacitors, Inductors, Diodes, Transistors, FETs and more. So are they any good, and are they useful repair tools? Are they actually worth the low selling price?

I admire your work, and as an amateur hobbyist, I can claim that you are one of the best teachers I follow.
There's an acrylic case for the LCR-T4 on aliexpress, if you're interested.
I like it for a back up and I like the idea of putting some leads to it. I bought the mesr100 because of this channel and I will buy this too.
apparently the 4T can be calibrated, might explain why you were getting lower values
I bought my T4 about 3 years ago £3.99 & free p&p.

Is it possible with this lcr to find a short on gpu vrm ?
there are some custom firmware for this device you can calibrate and select manul resistance mode with 0.01 ohm
i am also working on it successfully installed firmware seems good but i didn't test yet for vrm short tracing
The price has doubled now (8 months after this video was posted), and the postage is around ~6-7 euros.

And the MESR-100 costs over €50!
