Leigh has a last minute extra week off work so he will continue to explore Namibia. He is going to the Spitzkoppe and Walvis Bay.
In the meantime Stephy returns to France and goes hiking in the South with her very good friend Sophie.
Join us as we travel the world overland, exploring the cultures and traditions of all the countries we visit.
In our Land Rover Defender camper which is our full time home we will take you rock climbing, hiking and exploring across all the continents on this planet.
G'day guys.
The alternating stories were great. Nice vids old boy, Steph has taught you well. 😊
Haha thanks heaps guys ❤
"Speed limit 85.....Land Rovers:Just do what you can!" 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
Long live the Green Oval. 🎖️🇿🇦
I like your videos. They give me a lot of positive emotions. You give motivation for new journeys. And I'm learning English through your videos.
Looks like the truck has lots of big brothers and sisters to keep it company while it's in storage😊😊😊
Go make that money!!! Cheers🎉🎉🎉
Because Stephy isn't there, the video is somehow "different"...
But I really liked it, precisely because it's different. 👋
Stephy and Sophie could be sisters
Like the switching between countries - seamless 🙂
Great video, and like others have said love what you did with the alternating parallel stories. Great idea, and done and edited really well.
Great video guys
Awesome editing Steph. A really nice flow between the two journeys
We loved this one guys, you both did so well without your right arms haha. Loved the journey’s of both you gave us an amazing experience. Miss you both so much Mum and Dad ❤️😍❤️😍
Late getting to watch this one . But as always so worth the wait .😁and grizzly & bear even when a part still delivers another spectacular and enjoyable video . Cheers to you both for sharing your adventures with us all your over landing friends . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌍🍻😁👍🏼🥂
It is so hard leaving our trucks. Ours is stored in Brisbane. 6 weeks now. Withdrawals are starting to happen. Cheers Rolanda
Loved the contrast ! Beautiful TH-cam , thanks 😘😘
Love it!!! Your wife and her friend could be sisters! And love our new BBQ you recommended - totally awesome!
Glad you like it ! Awesome !
Yes not the first time someone said Sophie and Stephy look like sisters.
Very very nice video. Enjoy your work and looking forward to hear from you later. God bless❤
Thong repair tip is a game changer!!
Love the vids.
Great vid guys!
Great video! 👏👏👏👏
Great video folks 👍🏻
Great episode 👍✅👍✅
Solo tripping is awesome. Absence makes the heart grow .
So 3months till we see you again? I have heard to many stories of camping in Walvis Bay of theft. Dubai friend and professional photographer had all his camera equipment and 1000 US dollar cash stolen from him while camping with electric fences only 1 month ago. So Walvis will not see us there to camp.
Oh LOL - there are 3 Ozzie couples traveling Africa in their Troopys and they gave me the same tip for the Makita blower🤙
Aww, I like the back and forth storytelling while you guys are apart. Still super cool adventures... What is the ruin at 19:40? What a beautiful trek!
If you used a hex head flange screw you'd get improved traction on ice and snow, but may scratch wooden floors.
Nice video. These locally split sequences are a good idea. Stephie, next time when you visit your friend in the Var, drive some 150km to the Vaucluse. Do you know Les Falaises de Boux? It's a freeclimbing site with high difficulty. My friend Antoine and some others developed in the 80ies several routes with different difficulties. Now, there are hooks and ropes in place. It is between Lourmarin and Apt. I live 10km from there. Have a nice stay in Europe.
Ho !!! We did climb in Bioux. And it was crazy crazy hard. We were strong climbers back then and were shut down by Bioux 😅
@GrizzlyNbearOverland Shut down by Boux, that must be about 30y ago . I think there was a deathly accident and it was forbidden for a year or so. I am not a climber, I must ask Antoine le Menestrel for that. Maybe you know him. Today, there are some easy ( for experienced climbers) tours and very difficult. There is another site, le Rocher de Lioux, but climbing is still forbidden since some accidents. ( 50m straight vertical). Antoine did this year a climbing spectacle with a group of mental handicapped at the Palais des Papes during the Avignon Festival. Do you have a video of climbing in Boux?
5:59 I wonder how many humans have hung out there around a fire over the past million years. Amazing spot.
Now that's something to think about. It certainly has a very special feeling about the place.
All I can say is, We We 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍
Hi, im alway, enjoy thes your travels.
would you want publish of upgrades. suspention, transmittion etc. of the landy.
Best regards of Chile, end of the world, I hope see them you some day you for here
Rodrigo
We have made many videos of our air suspension system 😊
What happened to the Way Overland guys?! We really enjoyed their journey (except for the Iran bit of course)
We think they are doing well. Busy in Oz with work and a toddler. Few years ago they returned to collect the troopy in Armenia and finished the trip in UK. Shipped the car back to Australia.
merci

Hey Leigh, did you cut your part by yourself or did you just send the raw files over to Steph? 😃 Can't be like that all the time, but just to say, I liked the alternating stories a lot.
The Chinese gentleman looked like Fred Armisen in disguise. 😁
I had 2.5 h of raw footage from Leigh to edit. But I am glad he filmed a lot because on the Frenchy side, I had only 20min. 😅
Lots was long recording from the drone because I wasn’t there to drive and Leigh had to use the tracking mode.
First :)
I enjoyed the forced change to the format. Feels like I got double value.
Stéphanie a l'air d'avoir un peu de mal à retrouver ses mots en français 😅
C’est un vrai phénomène. Pas que Jean Claude Van D. 😅
Hey you two...
Lovely video again, completely different from any of the previous ones...
Spitskoppe so so lovely...
Leigh.... Don't let dickheads like *caltravels* bla bla take the wind out of your sails.
He/she/it is fairly f#cked up, and you are not allowed to say that, but I can...
Untill we meet again, keep on braaiing... 💪🏻🇿🇦
Thank you. « keep on braaiing » love that.
Mate, we don’t worry too much about those kind of comments. Pretty sure the dude needs to put fuel in his car and buys food that was transported by trucks. And the list goes on and on.
It's not a bitumen road it's a salt road
did you lose weight?
Nope
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland i meant your husband!
@@jonam7589not sure about that... Maybe haha Been a while since I got on a set of scales 😜
Id like to know if you're going to carry on calling it a "braai" or go back to calling it a "BBQ"😂
Braai for ever now. 😊 BBQ is more for gas or electric. We call Braai when we cook en coals.
That's my boy...
No BBQ can compete with a braai...
A braai is a braai is a braai...
Lovely video, you two... Sephi's friend is soft on the eye, but bro, they need a braai, in like meat, like in dead animal meat, braaiing stuff... 😂😂🇿🇦
since when is people allowed to leave vessels to rot and polute the environment?
Funny guy, you, ffs.
blah, you are oil and gas reliant, everyone is great friends that you know for a day, get real.
hypocrits
J’y is n doos
Who did you work for, Me I was staff geologist( one step above senior) for BHP Billiton 2009-2015
I've been working on the offshore industry almost 20 years and worked for lots of different companies. We drilled for BHP in Western Australia around 16 years ago.
