I have this game and its been with me for more than 10 years. I never knew that after completing 100% of the game you can get infinite ammo (I never did 100% lol). I also didn’t know that m249 even existed until lately. There are a lot of things to explore in this game

CJ is one bland mfer, even Claude Speed had more personality than him, and I'm not trolling here, same goes for most of his friends and family, with only Ryder and Big Smoke being truly memorable. some notable exceptions of course like Woozie Mu, the great Mike Toreno, among others, but the real standouts are the returning characters from the rest of the franchise like Catalina, Rosenberg and Salvatore. I'm certain most people remember being wowed by having three whole cities to explore in one game, the activities that you could partake in, the soundtrack and the atmosphere that the game undeniably has, and not really by the overall plot. I personally think Victor's story is much more compelling, what with him having to juggle supporting his shitty family, weasel brother and wino mother with a life of crime that he never wanted in the first place, and his unlikely relationship with Louise Cassidy, which I think wounds up feeling much more real than anything CJ and his multiple girlfriends had in SA. CJ loses most of the people he cares about when the game has already begun, the one "loss" he suffers afterwards is that of his phony friend Big Smoke who was pretty evidently a traitor, same with Ryder. his adventure is much more of a fun romp than it is an actual story.
I love this game. It was my first Gta to 100%. Only complaint I have with this game is the fact that we never get access to the Barracks safehouse after the 3rd mission of the game. I really wish we could have kept our safehouse at the military base. Woulda been nice to have a safe spot there.
There was actually quite a lot of things you could do in this game when you sit back and watch these videos.I loved the residual income earned from the various businesses lol.Teenage memories man.Good times good times

Lol I remember being so confused for months on my progress. I was on about 99.8% towards completion that I forgot playground at the mall was there. I would pass and pass, it never occurred to me the bike. lol VERY UNDERRATED VCS, golden years of R*.
Although GTA VCS was made for PSP it was packed with intresting side quests theres so much stuff to do for 100% back then Rockstar games really cared about making content for Single player and not sacrifice it for online

Whats disappointing is that Some people don't make mods for Gta Vcs...and Its not on the Pc..Only for Ps2 and Psp....I just wish this was on the pc so that people can enjoy encoding mods for it

Yes I played both of them on my phone with the ppsspp emulator which I recommend for playing psp games.
The emulator can also be used on pc.
