I saw them live in London last year. Most intense gig I have been to. They played this song and the crowd went wild. We all bopped along with the actions. Beyond Awesomeness!
i’ve been to rage against the machine and the prodigy (3 times) gigs and i imagine i can relate when you say “intense”
I was there too, it was amazing and the crowd on the main floor were incredible, I was up on the next level stage left looking down, was amazing to watch, in my top two gigs ever, maybe number one, loved it, that day was hot as hell and an incredible gig
Founded in 1999, the original bassist and guitarist quit a year later. Nao recruited her 'little' brother Ryo as guitarist and they found bassist Ue-chan. They have been together as a band ever since, extremely popular in Japan among all ages.
Love how passionate you are for MTH! Not sure if anyone has given you the line-up yet so here it is just in case:
Frontman/Heavy Vocals: Daiskue Tsuda "Daisuke-Han"
Bassist/Backing Vocals: Futoshi Uehara "Ue-Chan"
Guitarist/Clean Vocals: Ryo Kawakita "Maximum The Ryo-Kun"
Drummer/Clean Vocals (Also Ryo's older sister): Nao Kawakita "Nao"
I really love your enthusiasm for Ue-Chan's bass playing as he often gets left out of discussion from many reactors, which is such as shame because he is a phenomenal Bass player. If you want more songs that highlight his bass playing I recommend: F, Alien, Buiikikaesu, What's Up People, Maximum The Hormone, Uehara (Futoshi), and Kyokotsu (One of the few songs he gets clean vocals in!)
As for Nao who you also seemed to love, she has many more songs with great vocal performances, I suggest: Shimi, Zetsubo Billy, Chu Chu Lovely, and Yoshi Fukushu.
Finally I just want to say I absolutely love how you describe the band as a family! That is the perfect way to describe them and you will see it come through much more in their music videos, as you saw in this one, towards the end of each they have little segments of the members just fooling around, and you'll start to notice trends like running gags and songs the have fun with the fans getting them involved as well. Really hope you continue reacting to MTH.

the bassist is Ue-chan i believe and hes a total beast! You should definitely check out more maximum the hormone, he often throws in some crazy slap lines and everything, their discography is insane!
