This calendar actually looks really good! It's really hard in terms of skin tone though... And if they're going to put 2 different bronzers and highlighters in there, they should be more different! 😅

Hi Sophie! Just wanted to let you know that you can use one of the angled brushes for eyeliner :) Even if they didn't give you like an actual eyeliner product to use with the brush. Some people like to use a darker eyeshadow(OR ONE OF THOSE TOO DARK BRONZERS😂) to line the top of their eyes, if you want it more defined you can even do a concealer line first. Give it a go and let me know what you think!💕

It’s a strange how they used such a thick box to package it in when all the individual boxes are no more than an inch thick! Bit misleading and a waste of packaging!
Also, your face whenever you put too much bronzer or contour on is a complete mood 😂 always makes me chuckle! Xx

Low key, someone should make an advent calendar that consists of a magnetic palette, 12 eyeshadow pans, 6 face product pans (highlight blush etc), and six eyeshadow brushes. That way you can come out of it with one good quality full face palette and a way to apply it. You could even theme the calendar so that you end up with a color story that you will like. Like cool tones are called dreaming of a white Christmas, warm tones are cozy by the fire or something, and rosy tones are something about the color your nose turns when it’s cold. And then once this exists....Sophie should review it 😍

I wish you could get mystery boxes/advent calendars in pale/medium/dark/deep so that we could get powders and other things that would suit more skin tones. I know it's more effort for companies and perhaps some stuff still wouldn't work for everyone but it would still get more variety, and some people may even buy more than one advent calendar to get different stuff ;)

Hey Soph, if you get a super dark contour again mix it with a face powder and if it is still too dark go over it with your face powder.
Also make sure you set your cheek/contour area beforehand with power so it doesn't stick to the unset foundation.

These are my favourite videos I love them!!! You always manage to make me crack up within minutes of starting. I have a tip for when you’re applying contour/ bronzer/ eyeshadow dip into the powder then pat the brush once on the palm of your hand and you can see the payoff before you apply and know how heavy-handed you can be. Saves having to try and fix it! Xxx

If your contour or bronzer is too dark/intense, you can always use a brush or dampened sponge in the translucent powder to go over the contour/bronzer and lighten it up a bit as well as help it to blend slightly better
