Wow. This is a wonderful message but in the kind of society, we have today where the woman is the breadwinner of the family and the man sees nothing wrong in sitting at home while the woman feeds him and the home.
I have seen different cases of Christian homes being destroyed because of the husband being visionless. A woman's respect can never be complete to a man who does not even strive to get something doing or try to support the family in any way. Tentatively, what I'm saying is that a woman cannot come home to a man who has been idle all day doing nothing and who does not even attempt to support the home in any way, and then start singing love songs to him or praising him.
My opinion is based on a hard working man trying to be the best father and not a lazy guy who will want to stay at home and watch TV all day expecting the woman to provide for him while he makes his demand. marriage should be balance and each other providing a helping hand. I know of some women who are not working bc they husband is well to do, but what happen should in case the inevitable happens? while the husband works the wife should be able to also support no matter how small.

However,just to comment quickly on the issue of violence towards women from their husband because of their their attitudes .I don't think is totally right .Some men are just unbalanced I have met some women who experienced physical violence in their relationship and is not because of what they did or didn't .To the Glory of God I have been married more than 10yrs and is a heaven on earth experience

Wow. This is a wonderful message but in the kind of society, we have today where the woman is the breadwinner of the family and the man sees nothing wrong in sitting at home while the woman feeds him and the home.
If that man cannot show you a concrete plan of where he is going in life, KICK HIM OUT.
Also if a lady does not have a better plan for her self dont marry her else she is coming for a pension scheme.
I have seen different cases of Christian homes being destroyed because of the husband being visionless. A woman's respect can never be complete to a man who does not even strive to get something doing or try to support the family in any way. Tentatively, what I'm saying is that a woman cannot come home to a man who has been idle all day doing nothing and who does not even attempt to support the home in any way, and then start singing love songs to him or praising him.
My opinion is based on a hard working man trying to be the best father and not a lazy guy who will want to stay at home and watch TV all day expecting the woman to provide for him while he makes his demand. marriage should be balance and each other providing a helping hand. I know of some women who are not working bc they husband is well to do, but what happen should in case the inevitable happens? while the husband works the wife should be able to also support no matter how small.
Osaye Fadekemi you can it's a choice. God counsel's us to honour our husband's period. Do your part darling it may not always be easy on the flesh. Pray for him, do your part and trust God to help you not be frustrated with the situation and lash out.
