The bookstores you go to are always amazing~ makes me wanna visit our local one which is a walk away from our home. I committed to getting 1 to 2 books per week. I failed miserably every time. There is no specific adaptation - however netflix put their OWN subtitles on the show which are not the best and lag behind the actual dialogue. I recommend looking at the reddit posts about this issue or just googling - it was a whole rabbit hole i fell down myself haha

Boogie, when you say "adaptation" on Netflix do you mean the OG anime of EVANGELION? Because Netflix only has the OG series that ran in the 90s along with the follow up movies on the platform. Amazon has all of the rebuilt movies (which are pretty good, Mari Illustrious is the waifu every introverted weeb needs). But either way, the manga for EVANGELION is a completely different beast from the anime. Both are good in their own regards. Would recommend you check them out when your brain can make room for them because they are quite a deep dive into some interesting portions of the hooman mind.
I wish I had a book off in my area! I’d recommend sacrificial Princess and the king of beasts, it’s getting an anime soon, I hope it does the manga justice! 😎
