I am most definitely a hobbit. So grab yourself a pint (or a cup of tea) and join me on a little sewing journey to achieve my final form.

Oh man the stays turned out so good! I love the hook and eye and button combo, such a great idea. 10 out of 10 hobbittyness

Turned out so well! I have so many things I threw in the scrap pile because I couldn’t figure out how to get those stinking seams looking right😝😝

I have the same exact problem with the bust part being too loose with the same exact pattern. I only realise too late EVERY time I sew this and manage to forget it between makes😂

Wow that looks amazing! I love the bodice and the colors on you. Also thanks for showing how you got the pattern to work for you and where you shifted seams around to get it done. It looks just so darn cute!
Also that transition of the apron to the outfit was spot on! Great job overall all with your video and reveal.
Sorry you got sick though :/ that sucks.

My dream since my childhood is to build a hobbit house for myself but now I also want a hobbit wardrobe 😂

New follower here, followed you over from TikTok. Did you basically use the width from your new pattern pieces but follow the lower nekline and the armholes from the old pattern? I love the look of this one, so I am going to try to recreate it if I can get my hands on the pattern! Don't answer this part if you don't want to, but I am similar to your size, and I have no idea how these patterns run- Do you have the smaller pattern (6-8-10-12) or the larger (14-26-18-20)? Do you feel they run large or right on?

I have that same pattern and I would definitely go for the 14-16-18-20.

Welcome!! (Sorry for the late response) I used the neckline of the new pattern, but the dimensions of the old pattern because I had already figured out my waist/bust ratio with the old pattern. I agree with Samantha that it's best to go with the larger pattern (go a size or two up from your normal size) and then I highly recommend making an initial mockup directly from the pattern. Then from there you can pin all the bits that you might need to adjust. Hope this helps!! ❤️
