#corset #victorian #renfaire #autumn #hobbit #1800s Happy October Everyone! I'm a little late to the game with this kind of 1830s-meets-Ren-Faire-corset skirt... thing. I (obviously) am in love with the plaid and I think the idea of the skirt is super cute, but it definitely needs a bit more work. Should I add a ruffle at the bottom? So lovely to see you TP. You do seem happier, although it can be a bit of a rollercoaster when the initial high has worn off. You should be so damned proud of yourself. I did it myself 4 years ago and again 9 years before that. It's an adventure, but it's exhausting, especially if you're moving a house full of furniture and pets. We've just been hit with a storm. 70mph gales battering the house and no power since 3am. Oh the joys. My poor little boys are cold and I'm desperate for a coffee!

      Best of luck with the job hunting. It must be quite the culture shock. It's a constant learning experience isn't it. A bit draining, but it's good to see you taking care of yourself. Although, I should probably take a leaf out of your book. Looking forward to watching some adventures. Go forth and explore dear gal x

    I'm so glad to hear you're doing well! I'd love to watch vlogs about your new life, I'm very curious about what you're studying and what it's like to move so far from home. The two skirts turned out so beautiful! Especially the pockets in the french seams, very impressive. I did that once for a dress and I could literally find one video, dubbed in bad English, explaining how to do it...

Can I also say how beautiful you look as always, and as a woman with waist length hair I completely understand the dread of washing ones hair. The struggle is real! Having just reached the end of the video, may I congratulate you on your move to Ireland. You now live just across the shore. I also moved to a different country 4 years ago, so I understand how challenging it is, but I wish you the very best in your new home and wth your future life in beautiful Ireland.

    with the Hood, as it's for a Slytherin Cloak, you could have added an extra 4/5 inches More but as a Point, so when you wear the Hood, it would have been made into a witches type of hood with Tail hanging onto the Back kind of thing. still looks good either way!

    Doing the math initially would have saved you a ton of unpicking and resewing. Pleats on top of pleats? Sorry, but this is painful. If you are going to teach, doing it correctly would be kinder. Also, you would end up with a garment that looks nice and lasts you years.

    Always so exciting to see a notification from TP because I immediately know that she's been feeling somewhat okatish and has even had the creative motivation to make not one, but two garments in one video. Who could ask for more? Beautiful skirt fabric. I've always found the American term of plaid (is that spelled correctly?) quite disconcerting. As I'm sure you're aware, in Scotland we call it Tartan, unless it's not a Clan Tartan, then we call it check. I like the waist cincher/belt, but maybe wth a different colour skirt. The tan colour seemed to clash with that beautiful deep red for some reason. I think it's because the belt has more of an orange undertone and the skirt is more of a blue toned red. I could be in the minority here, but it's just my opinion.. Hope to see you again soon! Anna x

      @TuscanyPosey ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, Anna! I'm definitely feeling more like myself lately and excited to make more videos, but work has been consuming my time. I might actually make the belt and skirt separate garments, but I haven't quite decided. I have a whole bucket of items I need to fix!
