Espio was the in-roleplay murderer, really fit him as a ninja and all, but also I love that he had a major underlying role like that. Chaotix rise up!
I demand a sequel! A more elaborate one, at that.
Honestly, the culprit chose the perfect patsy for the job. Espio is skilled and stealthy enough to actually pull it off, and smart enough to force an alibi into place.
This part made me feel like a complete idiot trying to defend Espio in the Library Car, lol 😅
But hey, you didn't really have enough evidence to really accuse him at that time! Tails's accusations were pretty much baseless back then, even if Espio's the culprit

These comments are wild. And I was suspicious of Amy. Then she was not the murderer because of here role. Than since Espio had the worst alibi reading a book and he is a ninja. I was like "It is not Espio but I think it is." Wow I was actually correct

The fact that Espio TRANQUILIZED sonic because he thought that was what he needed to do is hilarious to me. Yes, it was because he was tricked by the train, but you cannot un-headcannon the fact that Espio thought he had to actually knock people out to "kill" them, and if he didn't have a tranquilizer on him he would've just hit them with a chair. Also the fact that Shadow isn't good with computers.

Every interrogation theme is a slower version of this. As you progress in the game, it gets faster and faster.

i've been trying to defend Espio the fact he confessed he saw nothing, but that made such an idiot, i still enjoyed the game tho lmao

me and my friend thought rouge was the one because she's the only other one in every room. but then i had the thought of "well espio is a ninja" AND THAT SINGLE THOUGHT COULD'VE SAVE 2 HOURS OF THINKING I'M STILL SALTY 3 MONTHS LATER
NAH, NAH UR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS HIM AT ALL, I WAS GENUINELY CAUGHT OFF GUARD THE FIRST TIME!! 😭
When me and my little brother were playing it, we came to a conclusion that literally everyone had a proper alibi and thought... It was the conductor! Like when Shadow said his true intentions (which was ADORABLE BTW, PEAK SHADOW!!) we were like "wait we haven't seen the conductor since the beginning of the game in the dining car... HOLY SHIT-"
And it made a lot of sense at the time bc of the train suddenly gaining speed, and we're shown at the start the only one the train listens to is the Conductor- So when we got to the "Who murdered Sonic The Hedgehog?" part, I thought they were all the wrong answers! I clicked on Shadow first, was wrong... So I clicked on them one by one. I was like Tails and Amy can't be murderers... Blaze and Rouge were doing their own side-quest, Shadow was messing with the computer the whole time for Amy, Vector and Knuckles were playing the game, and Espio was reading...
So when I got to Espio and the cutscene played out- I audibly gasped and was like "wait WHAT-" and my little brother gasped out loud too and was SCREAMING "IT WAS ESPIO!" and I was ACTUALLY TRYING TO DEFEND ESPIO, I REALLY BELEIVED HIM SO WE WERE ARGUING AND SCREAMING FOR LIKE 20 MINS, HE KEPT SAYING "HE'S A NINJA! HE CAN CLIMB ON WALLS, HE CAN GO INVISIBLE!" AND WHEN TAILS AND ESPIO REVEALED THE TRUTH I WAS LIKE AIN'T NO WAYY 😭💔
If we realized this earlier we could've easily saved a good half hour or more, so you're not alone 💀
@@amytheprettyweirdfangirl3786 when i played i thought it was gonna be the conductor too, and i clicked on Espio first purely because he seemed like the best shot. I still thought it was gonna be a fake out though, and it'd like have an interrogation for every character that leads to revealing the conductor (i play ace attorney and stuff like that happens pretty often in that), so i was pretty shocked when it really was Espio
