When I listened to this song while reading its meaning, I realized that it’s not just a sad song but one that faces sorrow with courage and optimism. That’s the feeling I wanted to convey in my cover. Unfortunately, some of my fellow Filipino Voltes V fans might miss this perspective and and only associate this song with sadness. I think I’ve even received comments on my short version suggesting that I should’ve sung it softer~ 😅 Your comment reassures me that I’m on the right path. 🐼✨
@vocapanda have no doubt of that. And I agree with your interpretation. Yes, the lyrics are sad, but there's also a resolve and determination to reclaim what was lost. The ending theme to Mazinkaiser, Tornado, is very similar in its emotional resonance.
My eyes misted hearing this song, you conveyed the sense of melancholy and determination very well. I almost can see the brothers standing together and strengthening each other for the sake of a better future that they're fighting for.
