    Thanks for the great video. I just replaced an iPad Pro screen using your instructions.
    I lost the screws that hold the plate over the 4 cable connections between the screen and base. I fixed the plate in place with tape. The screws are way too small for my eyes!
    I cleaned the edges of the base with ethanol and Q tips. The old adhesive did not come away all at once. There was some sticky mess left behind.

    To really repair that iPad, the “Impeach 45” sticker needs to be peeled off of the back of case lol 😂

      You can just close the open space in the 5 to make it 46. Problem solved!

    My iPad a1701’s back housing is bended. Since A1701’s and A1709’s back housing are same size. can I move A1701’s motherboard into a1709’s back housing?

    Hi! I replaced my iPad Pro 11” M1 screen with a gen2 glass screen-Apple Pencil now works very oddly. Lots of dead spots as I draw lines or anything. Finger works fine.
    Pencil has that issue.
    Gen 2 screen blocked the autobright sensor on the M1 Gen 3 version. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me. But the pencil not working properly is killing me atm.
    Any idea why that’s happening?
    Sometimes the pencil will kick in and work perfectly, but just for a few minutes before going nuts again! !!

      @@UbergeeksBiz really?? Is that common? The repair guy tells me to replace my digitizer, but that shouldn’t be the issue 😥

      Did you ever get a fix for your issue?

    • @moazadi8973
      @moazadi8973 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@danob653 I was advised by the repair tech to wait til digitizers become cheaper...which they now have!
      Around 60-70 canadian dollars. I'm supposed to call him so he gets one in, then........we will see if the issue was the digitizer lol.
      I just don't see how the new glass (even though its previous gen) would mess up functionality with the apple pencil. Digitizer must have gotten slightly damaged after we broke the screen originally.
      Will update you when it is....'fixed' lol.

      @moazadi8973 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UbergeeksBiz is that a for sure, or a possible reason?
      Do you think it's possible that when we broke the screen that the digitizer might have also suffered from the impact?

    I must be missing something..the new screen comes with a home button.. surely just take the display off and replace with a new one..hmmn?

      The buttons are bound cryptographically to the main board; you won’t be able to use the touch ID feature, it will just work as regular button.
