Materials~
Dollar Tree~
2 Glass cutting boards - round or square
Fall fabric
Gel super glue
Something for removing the feet from the bottom of cutting board.
Rubbing alcohol
Other~
Dishwasher safe Mod Podge
I would add some mod podge around the edges after cutting off the fabric from around each one. Love this project.
Great idea!
I made these with clear Elmer's glue, but I add the cork sheets from dollar tree to the bottom. Enjoyed this, never new they made mod podge dishwasher safe.

Dish washer proof Modge Podge - who'd have guessed! Now to chase some William Morris Samples. Should like some advice as how to get the faded UV bleached white backing off my existing glass stands so I can tart them up.

Such a super cute idea. They look really nice on the easels. Could these be used as a hot plate, to set hot bowls etc. on or will the modpodge melt/get sticky?
Thank you! That’s a good question. I would think after you let them cure for the 28 days you could use them as a hot plate. You can put them in the dishwasher where it gets very hot and doesn’t come apart.
Very nice! Is the superglue you used also dishwasher safe? Have you put either one in for a test run in your dishwasher - good results?
Can we do on cork
So cute and beautiful! Love your diy thank you for sharing your talent with us. I like the heating tool you use on some of your projects. Where did you get it?
Thanks
Thank you so much! I get it from Amazon.
Here is my referral link to the one I use amzn.to/3TGlzFX
Thank you so much for let me know and sharing the link to heating tool.
I just made the square one and left it overnight to dry. I came back this morning and the fabric didn't stick to the glass! Plus it bubbled up, it was smooth last night before bed! :( Any thoughts?
These turned out great. I know you said they could go in the top rack of the dishwasher after curing. Did you have to make any adjustments to the cycle temp?
I haven’t put them in the dishwasher myself. I just spray them with a cleaner and wipe them down. The mod podge bottle doesn’t specify a special setting, so I would assume the normal cycle would be fine.
@@DIYwithBeth 😊 thanks
Beth, where in Canada are you, I know you told me before but I can't remember? I live in Southern, Ontario, Canada about an hour from Toronto!
Oh I actually live in the US. In New Hampshire
@@DIYwithBeth oh sorry I thought you had said you were in Canada. LOL!
