I'm here after finishing Crisis Core Reunion! I'm so happy that I got to play it for the first time since I've never had a PSP. Seeing Zack in this game hits differently after playing Crisis Core. Even though I already knew how it ended. I noticed in the comments that people have had trouble with the Zack battles, especially his dark mode. I never had issues with either of the Zack battles in BBS. They've always felt baby easy for me. Maybe because I was over-leveled. I've played on both standard and proud mode. I never played on critical. That might be why. I think I hear the Crisis Core theme at 5:57
Despite this boss being a pushover thanks to my powerful commands, I definitely enjoyed this battle a LOT. Especially the second round where he continuosly attacks you

Sora is kind, but that isn't enough to make him a good person on it's own. Mostly it just makes him naive and therefore a liability to those around him. His greatest quality is his resolve. Too many people are nice not out of moral rigor but because they're simply too cowardly to do anything evil -- and what's worse they're too sheltered to even realize their own moral ineptitude. Would Sora be kind to someone who he genuinely hated because they took advantage of him? I can see Riku doing this because he is conscious of how far a person can be lead astray because his own mistakes have humbled him -- because he himself was a traitor who slaved his way to redemption. He's not a good guy by default -- he *earn the right* to be a good guy. Sora on the other hand leaves me in doubt. Would he be too afraid to trust again by letting this person back into his heart? Or would his famed courage pass through the icy circle of Cocytus?

And I guess in a way, he kind was on the castle? He found Vexen's death by Axel to be pretty senseless since they're on the same side, which could be seen as some compassion for the main source of his anger, the organization. This is highly counter to Zack’s character. I understand that they’re portraying a much younger, likely less confident Zack, but his character is based around internal validation. Zack’s character in crisis core always believed in staying true to yourself and defending your honor, a trait that was passed onto him by Angeal. His foil, Genesis, seeks external validation by becoming the world’s hero as he envies the praise Sephiroth gets. For Zack go say “you don’t decide if you’re a hero, other people do” is wrong.

I’d much rather Sora be the next Square Enix character. I don’t know much about FF compared to KH but I think Sora would offer a more unique moveset to differentiate from Cloud.

Yeah! Indeed! Zack is more skilled than cloud. Because, he's so strong even only just infused in mako energy compared to cloud. He fight sephiroth only infused in mako and manage to give sephiroth a great fight. While, Cloud doesnt even know how to fight that time. Cloud just defeated sephiroth because of zack(memory and maybe all the skills zack have) and the jenova cells in his body developed that made him stronger. So what if zack didnt die? He is maybe far superior than both sephiroth and cloud because of the jenova cells flowing in his veins too. Talent+skills+jenova cells? Ggwp 😁

Why not. If you play cc that's 2 rounds. You need to defeat sephiroth twice before falling to the stairs. If thats not a good fight then what is it? Even sephiroth can't even land a hit to zack. If zack can beat genesis who can fight toe to toe with sephiroth in lv.49 room back then, why not zack? As you can see he's stronger than genesis.

This is highly counter to Zack’s character. I understand that they’re portraying a much younger, likely less confident Zack, but his character is based around internal validation. Zack’s character in crisis core always believed in staying true to yourself and defending your honor, a trait that was passed onto him by Angeal. His foil, Genesis, seeks external validation by becoming the world’s hero as he envies the praise Sephiroth gets. For Zack go say “you don’t decide if you’re a hero, other people do” is wrong.
But in this version he is he younger,also thats Zack from Kingdom Hearts not the Zack from ff7.

The final fantasy characters are different from the ones in their original stories. It's like alternate versions of them so they don't exactly have the same backround/ages etc...
Bbs is 10 years before KH1. Do the math. If he is 14ish here. He would be 24ish in KH1, making cloud about 20ish since Zack is older than cloud.
