Eli! I appreciate all of the information, it’s been a lot of help for me!
Thank you Eli 😊
Great stuff bro.
I wish you could put your pricing menu in a Downloadable PDF, that make things so much easier. But thanks for putting it up in a youtube video!
Love your videos, love cubicasa... Sept was my best month ever 25k!!! Love your program! and I am a one man show!!! Your system works, Im living proof!!
We're so happy for your success. Could we feature your success story in a blog post? 🤩
absolutely@@cubicasa4133
Congrats!! $25k is big!
Thank you SO MUCH. This helped me sooo sooo much. I was racking my brain thinking about structuring something like this
Awesome! You are welcome!
You've helped me so much my friend! Thank you for this valuable information. Most of all, thank you for making it FREE and putting it all on TH-cam!
Glad to hear it! Thanks for being a part of our community!
I second that! Eli’s videos are so helpful and brings positive vibes to be motivated. Keep up the good work!
@@PicturesquePhotography-ej4hl Thank you!!
Hey, cool video! Where can I find that tile wallpaper background you used for the shopping cart?
Hey Eli. In your course, do you include the video services you offer?
Eli, thank you so much for these free videos man, and i do have one question? What could be a good drone to start with?
DJI air original, you can find the bundle for like 6-700. Some will say the mini but I don’t recommend and if you have a bigger budget then the Air 2s. By no means do you need the Mavic pro 2 or 3. Overkill for REP
Do i need a full frame sensored camera for a beginner photographer. Or is a small sensor fine. It would be nice to know so i can narrow down my camera options. Thank you😊
Can you make a video about client acquisition/marketing ?
How far away is too far for you to go shoot a property? Like how big of a radius will you cover
Hey Eli what is a good starting price range for packages?
Can you recommend a virtual staging editor?
profitability vs top line is major!!
Agreed!
I use Cubicasa, I love it. My only issue is that I had one scan come out 200sqft (a small room) less than the measurement the realtor took. I can't tell you why, but I couldn't explain that to the realtor either. I stopped using the actual measurements on the plans after that. I've been gun shy to go back.
Who is the best company to edit your pics
Eli, I'm18 in Gainesville Florida trying to start my real estate photography company, could you do a video on how to get new clients and market your business, that's the biggest struggle I've had so far.
Hi could you explain mls photo in the simplest way? I’ll keep doing research to find out just thought I’d ask
Hi Eli, what would you recommend for pricing for someone who is just starting out? So far, I have taken some drone (part 107 certified) photos, generic home photos, and made 3D virtual tours with the Ricoh Theta SC2 w/Zillow app (of my own property and a couple of my freinds' properties). I feel like their quality is good but it's going to take me time & experience to get to a more professional level. For example, I was thinking to offer a package of 25 photos, 6 drone photos, and 3D tour for $185 now and later at a more professional level I could increase it.
What do you use to deliver your photos?
I'm still stuck in the DMing process, I feel like I send so many and get no replies or barely get a "cool I'll keep you in mind"
Same, I have more luck with taking portrait photos of people.
Same
You should share your first contact template below, it sounds like they're not converting, I imagine some helpful people can offer tips on how to rework your "cold calls" in the comments
@@MrBarelyFitz 100%, great advice! We look for at least 10% conversion to a free shoot, and the message you send really matters, what you do before the message (engaging with the account) really matters, how your page looks, etc!
Feels like stalking to me.
Do you shoot any video besides the social media reels?
Hey Eli, looking at your gear options comparing the one your employees use vs the budget kit..if the budget kit gets you to a hypothetical quality of 7/10 how far would the employee one get me? I've made my first $20k with your budget option, just wondering if it is worth it to upgrade for a little extra quality control.
Great question! For photos it will still be identical, but video is where you may get a from a 7/10 to like 8/10? Still that is relative because how you shoot it impacts that. I would say the real reason to consider upgrading (and why we do) is two fold. First, the employee kit gear is physically bigger and looks more "pro" - this isn't super important but the way people think about your business matters. Two, the batteries last longer and gear is more durable, so for consistent daily use I prefer the EOS R or EOS RP!
what company do you use for delivery?
I look at photos on the listings in my market and they all already look good. I would love to get started in RE photography, but how would I differentiate myself? Do all realtors already have photographers they work with?
Your best bet is to cold call the realtors, introduce yourself, and ask if they have an upcoming listing. I started by saying I'd do the job and they would pay only if they're happy with the work. This way you don't offer free services.
I just ordered an M50 and have basic photography skills, but no real estate photography skill or experience. Where do I start?
Watch all my videos here on TH-cam and watch the workshop linked below them!
Hey @itselijones Do you guys just use a iphone for your videos? or do you use your canon eos r's ?
Hey Eli for photo delivery how are you getting paid at that point just got started a week ago and had 4 condo shoots in a day I was delivering then sending the invoice prior to this listing but now I'm waiting to get paid whats the most secure way for me moving forward, thank you in advance!
We use a software called Spiro now, it handles booking, delivery, invoicing, payment etc!
Does anyone know what the marketing kit is in his packages?
It's made by the software we use! Includes a property website, social media posts, fliers etc
Hey Eli, thanks so much for this video! I was trying to signup for coaching and it appears that there are no more time slots available. I was wondering if there is any availability.
Thanks for watching! Try again now, just cleared up some availability! :)
@@itselijonesEli, I’m scheduled! Thank you for opening up your teams calendar 🙏 Looking forward to it.
What's he charging for coaching?@@joshuameyer207
Hey, there's a typo in your price list under MLS Room Measurements. Laster measurement tape.
Hahah thank you!
Does Norman and Young offer FPV?
What system do you use to create your order form? Thanks for the great info!
He's using HD Photo Hub
We used to use HD Photo Hub but now are moving to Spiro! (spiro.media)
I just got set up for HDPH, does this mean I'd have to switch if I joined REPP?@@itselijones
Have you gone over what MLS photos are?
also what is the marketing kit?
MLS is the system agent used to list their property they exchange code schedule appointments etc. I'm not sure about MLS photos but the res size is different. For the marketing kit I'm sure he just made it up himself on how to better help agents market their property
I’m planning on starting a photography business in the spring of 2024. Should I make a website before I start it?
Personally, I'd say yes. Google "Real Estate Photographer Near Me" and check out the local businesses that come up. Check out their websites. Do they look professional?
Nope! We recommend instagram + a booking software like Spiro.media instead of a website at the start - build a website once you're doing like $8k+ per month if you want!
Thanks Eli sorry for the dumb name I made it when I was younger
Does the 3D floor plan cost something to provide it? I know the 2D is free but curious if they charge for the 3D
Yes, full breakdown of pricing is on their website!
@@itselijones I realized that after I asked 🤦🏼♂️ thanks man!
Good info Eli, Thanks for sharing, and nice to meet you last weekend. One thing I was thinking though is you say if your top line is 15k you should be profiting 12k, however profit comes after you pay wages. If the owner is also the operator the profit would be what's left after you pay yourself a fair wage. Right?
Likewise! When I say $15k top line -> $12k profit, the more accurate term would be owners compensation which is a mixture of salary and profit. Most people we work with haven't elected their LLC as an S corp so there really isn't a difference between the payments. Ultimately though I should probably say $12k owners comp in this scenario!
@@itselijones I’m am owner operator, but trying to move away from so much operating. I’d rather have profit than wages.
@@itselijones operating as an s-corp is the best way to operate. It is super helpful when trying to get larger commercial jobs as a lot of times they won’t even consider hiring you if your not.
How are your photographers accurately keeping track of the number of photos during a shoot? I could see myself losing track and accidentally under-deliver the package.
Haha basically it becomes a 6th sense after a while, but the hard part is not overshooting honestly, undershooting is rare!
Is there any benefit to your program if I’m already doing 400k per year?
Depends on your goals! We only offer coaching now so it is custom to the business at the higher levels, and we have a coach on our staff who also runs a $3m a year real estate media business - so if you want to grow then I would say so!
Hey Nick, my is Josh Meyer I noticed your comment. I also run a RE photo business. This is an unusual request, but id love to connect with you! Is that something you’d be interested in?
400k per year in real estate photography?
@@Muggli about 375 in real estate, 25 in corporate/branding
What part of U.S are you in? These prices are way too low it seems like. I do basic reels with no agent in it for 300 and agent cameo/voice over for 500. My basic combo package that consist of 30 photos, 2D plan and a 45 sec reel is 650. I’m located in a small town of Corpus Christi. 300k population for perspective
