I think i like 3 the most. The "welcome" and other special effects would be great. I assume I could keep the "welcome" strobe effect up manually and change it to party mode once the party starts?
I'd say go with 7.) Pococo DJ Disco Stage Party Light for the kids. It's low priced ($15 - $20) and does some Kool laser patterns on the ground and has a color wash effect light. If you include a fog machine they will see the beam patterns like shown in this video.

I just can't help but chuckle that in some videos you can see dead pixels, meaning strong lasers hit the camera sensor

Any light that has dots or random effects do yourself a favor and get rid of them. You will be stuck doing small events that pay less.
