- Texas, Adios (1966) was directed by Ferdinando Baldi more in the style of the traditional American western, rather than the typical spaghetti mould. The film starred Franco Nero, who made the iconic '' Django'' the same year. The memorable score was written by Anton Garcia Abril and featured a haunting title song with vocals by Don Powell. This short suite contains....Main Title song (''Texas, Goodbye'') / Free and Wilde / Hot Pursuit / Sundown / To The Sun / End Title.
No matter how many years or decades, this song / this theme / this score never gets old. 🔫❤🐎
Os filmes e os atores dos anos 60/ 70, deixam saudades, pelos grandes trabalhos deixados, nos mostrando e'pocas em que a justiça se fazia com as mãos, pela falta das leis. Hoje temos as leis e nåo temos justiça. Temos o abuso do poder, a desumanidade e a desigualdade de direitos. Um jeito covarde de enricar com dinheiro pu'blico. Muitos se tornam imbecis, puxando o saco dos ladrões e traidores de frente, mendigando parte do dinheiro roubado dos cofres pu'blicos. São :"a elite do atraso". Os burgueses. A civilidade? A evolução? Um grande filme; recomendo.

Most memorable moment? During the bar brawl, when Burt (Nero) best the Mexican guy into submission, had him kneeling before him, only to turn back swiftly and kicked him. In my country the double feature which always packed them in was "Texas, Adios" and "Django".
Quentin Tarantino overdid it with both "Hateful 8" and "Django Unchained", two of the worst westerns ever made and I am always taken aback at how Franco Nero allowed himself to be exploited in that cameo where he "met" Jamie Fox at the bar. At times, "know it all Tarantino" tends to be overbearing .
