Awesome gain well done guys.I have spotted something interesting if you go to 10:48 the rear window kind of steams up when he floor it and as soon he lift his foot off the steam form that back window disappears .My Vrs does same thing wonder why ??
Glad you enjoyed the video Barry 😎 They had a few S3’s down there for mapping so worth giving them a call, if not you can blame it on me for suggesting 😅
How accurate are the figures with only using front wheels? The reason I ask is I had my mk7 gti Apr stage 1 tuned a few year ago and they couldn't get a true reading because the wheels were spinning on the rollers because of the torque
I didn’t notice any wheel spin from the viewing room or on the dyno graph at this power, I would drop them a message though to confirm the max limits of the dyno on your build.
@@stoneautomotive I had all season tyres on at the time I asked if it was because of that I was told it even happens with michelin ps4 on they just take the torque down a bit
@@thirteen2342 guess it also depends on the rolling road and how it’s strapped down, another thing to be aware of is old dyno’s loose the grooves/ cuts in the rotating drum so may spin 🤷♂️ I was really impressed with R-tec and Matt’s certainly wasn’t the most powerful one they have tuned
@@stoneautomotive yeah it does actualy, my tuner doesnt do it either, he does see on the rolling road tho when he starts. He once said I had at least one bad injector and went at a bosch centre and he was right, 2 failed. Also pls make more vids fast :D
The haldex pump removal and clean, then using new fluid on both front and back as well the pumps going through vcds learning procedure on every service otherwise the incorrect voltage is used by the haldex 5 ecu controller which then will not get it to run properly and eventually leading it to pump or haldex controller failure. Also the haldex sump needs to be drained properly everytime haldex service is completed. Not doing this will lead to Premature failure in the pump or failure in the haldex 5 controller. Way too many failures on these mqb front and rear haldex vehicles
Golf R? looking at the underside and big parts... just looks like a GTI... a Golf R is equipped with aluminium under carriages... the stuff i see here is just stamped metal.
R tech a proper specialist when it comes to tuning these vag motors. Niki is known to be one of the best mappers/tuners outthere 😊
Agree, top lads 😎
Got my car remapped by them, they're probably one of the best for the golf r platforms and tuning. They do it properly 👍
i’m getting my mk 7 estate stage 1 map , dsg map ,miltek exhaust fitted non res, and race line 6 as well next week can’t wait
The estate, good choice sir 😎👍

Normally condensation in the silencers, or the head gaskets gone 😅
My golf r 2015 does the same bro
Mine does the same
Top lads at Rtech
Really pumping the content out now buddy love to see it!
Giving it a big push to see if it’s gonna take off 😅
Still want the content to be decent so trying my best 😬
Great video & an impressive improvement 👍🏼Do you happen to know if they map Audi’s too. Only I’ve got a little S1 that could do with some extra bhp.

@@stoneautomotive Many thanks for the reply. Will give them a shout. Cheers.

@@stoneautomotive good job, I'm getting a Sach organic clutch fitted to my R next week once run in I think I'll get that stage 1 tuned
@@thirteen2342you'll hate it at first! It's alright after 500 miles or so though 😀
Good figurs, nice to see they check the car before pushing it on the rolling road.
Yea I was impressed with that, not something I’ve ever seen before in all the years around dyno’s, makes complete sense when you think about it 😅

Did you have a TCU map too?
Yes the DSG was mapped too, really noticeable difference in the way it shifted after the work was completed 👌

Why didn’t you tube the 6 speed manual? Oh that’s right, they only sell automatic in Europe lol
🤣
Wrong. You can buy a manual

Worth dropping them a message as different packages on offer 👍 as it was Matts car I can’t recall what he paid I’m afraid
How much did it cost?
For some reason £500 ish with the health check rings a bell, Matt booked it so can’t be 100% sure but certainly worth giving them a call 👍
I want one🔥 r tech for the win.

I think R Tec would have said if it wasn’t a Golf R 😂 as it has the 4Wd system it’s certainly not a GTI..
