This video is a complete guide on UiPath Orchestartor, step by step from scratch.
UiPath Orchestrator -
Web application that enables you to arrange UiPath Robots to execute repetitive business process(Automation Project)
And, to do so, Orchestrator follow step by step process:
Machine
Robot
Environment
Process
Job
Machine:
Represents a workstation (physical or virtual) on which UiPath Robot is installed
Authorizes the connection between UiPath Robot and Orchestrator using a Machine Key
2 types of machines can be created in Orchestrator
1. Standard Machine
2. Machine Template
1. Standard Machine
Enables you to connect UiPath Robot to Orchestrator on one workstation only.
Used when you work on same workstation every time -
Workstation with static machine/user combinations
Persistent Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDIs) - private workstations where end users use the same workstations day after day
2. Machine Template:
Enables you to connect UiPath Robot to Orchestrator on multiple workstations
Used when you work on multiple workstations
Workstations with arbitrary machine/user combinations
Non-persistent Virtual Desktop Infrastructures(VDIs) - public workstations where the end user changes frequently
Robot:
UiPath Robot is the execution host that runs processes built in UiPath Studio
Two types of Robots as execution host can be created:
Standard Robot
Floating Robot
Standard Robot -
Restricts user to use UiPath Robot on a single workstation
Creating a standard robot allows it to work on a single standard machine
Floating Robot -
Allows user to use UiPath Robot on a Multiple workstation
Creating a floating robot allows it to work on any machine - Standard orTemplate
Environment -Grouping of Robots that is used to deploy processes
Process - Represents association between an environment and a package
Package - Projects Published From UiPath Studio or Uploaded manually to Orchestrator
Job - A job represents the execution of a process on UiPath Robot.
Version Management - Publish the updated project from UiPath Studio to Orchestrator and update the project under Prcoesses. When Job runs, it runs the updated project. The project can also be rolled back to the previous version using the rollback option.

From left hand side, click on Default folder
Select the Robots tab from the top
From there, you can create Robots

@@sruthikolla9217 For new versions of UiPath, open UiPath.assistant.exe and move to preferences(top right corner) -> Orchestrator settings

Excellent explanation on Orchestrator, this is maybe the best video I have seen about this subject. I have two questions about it I would like to ask. First: In 15:53. This means it can not be created an unattended floating robot. Why it can not be created? Second: If a floating robot does not have credential parameters associated, (domain/user and password), it means it can not be used with a domain joined machine, or even a workgroup machine if session users accounts have a password on it?. I hope you could help me with these. Thanks.

Can you please tell me which Uipath version you have downloaded? It is not match to the current version of UiPath. Because environment icon and blue button + is not there in current version.

option to move to old design has been removed . So, you won't be able to move to old design

If i create the Robot type as attended, i couldn't able to view the Robot under Execution target in Start the job process. Why ? Can you pls help me. When i chose as Unattended it's working fine. I am using community edition.
Hi, in community edition, you might not have the license of attended robot. so, you are not able to view.
To check licenses, move to cloud.uipath.com -> admin -> Licenses -> Robots and services

I am facing problem while creating the Robot. When I am navigating to Management--->Robots, the following message is displayed:
Robots: Robots in modern folders are managed from Management / Users.
The option for Standard and Floating Robot is not displayed. Kindly help me to create Robots in this scenario. Thanks

Robot names are listed on the orchestrator in the Robots section. May I know what are trying to achieve?
To used UiPath orchestrator we need a licensed version of UiPath studio right? Or it can be used in the community version too?

Hi, if you are using community edition, you might not have the access to floating robot. Please try taking Unattended Robot and let me know if you face any issue

Hi mam, thanks for this video and I have an issue while start job if click on process field it's not showing process name and robot name I tried 3 anhalf hours but I couldn't get process name and robot name I Start Job screen so please can you give me a solution for this?

@@qualityassurancelab7764 Finally, I have resolved the issue. I did mistake while choosing the bot type so i realized it and chose correct bot for my process after that bot started to work fine. Thanks for reply mam.

Hi Guys, I have hit a Error "Access is Denied" while simply executing the welcome message it says "Unable to start the execution". I don't know how actually it occurred. Even when i try to publish the the project on orchestrator same error "Access is denied". Thanks in advance for your help.

mam please help me i am getting unlicensed while connecting robot
Could you please follow below steps:
1. move to orchestrator and check if you have properly added Machine.
2. Move to Robot tab. Create robot and write as a “domain/username” exact same thing what you see when you use whoami command in cmd.
3. Finally under Robot tab go to Environments in upper pane and create one.
4. Then try to connect robot from tray to orchestrator and publish the package.
I am facing problem while creating job. No robots are shown to assign the process to a robot. Although both robot and process in the same environment. Please try to solve this issue.
Hi, what is the type of Robot you selected while creating a Robot?
Could you please try again by selecting the Unattended type of robot?

But can't we use any other type bot other than UA-Bot. Because I can able to create only one bot with that.

Hi, yes the orchestrator view is changed.
To move back to previous one, move to top right corner and click on your profile icon.
There select go back to old design
Quality Assurance Lab I could see my profile icon on left corner and when I clicked on it, I don’t see any option to go back to old design. Mine is community edition so will that matters ?

It would be present with the name UiPath.Agent.exe

Click My Folders -> Default tab
On the top, click on Robots tab
You will get + symbol there
