I love how technology seems to have advanced tremendously in the year since AJ happened. Also I'm still raving about them seemingly bringing the objection theme from T&T back (which is one of my favorite themes in the series)
This trailer gives the feeling that the game will answer a lot of expectations. The new system in which you must search the contradictions in the emotions along the testimony looks very interesting. I love how he got a motive deduced from knowing that he was saying "attoney" with a strong anger ! It is also impressive to see how good animated the characters are in 3D. I'm definetely hyped for that game despite it feels queer to see Phoenix acting like in PW3 after PW4...
I feel sorry for those who don't have a 3DS. I bought mine on launch day and the only thing keeping it alive is Mario Kart 7 and Kid Icarus: Uprising. Hopefully this, and the hope of a new Flipnote bring life back to the 3DS.
That music! The models look great. I like how Nick's mouth moves more than two frames when he talks. And love the angles in the courthouse. Who's silhouette is that at the end there? Someone new or someone we already know? Hmm.... (I think at the end it says "The dark days of the court is here... but... let's turn it around (gyakuten)"

As cool as it is to see Phoenix once again in the Lawyer seat, I feel like we should have gotten more time with Apollo first... or at least have a similar setup in AA5 like Trials and Tribulations, where you play two or three of the lawyers. Apollo's Perceive system was interesting.
When was the last time they even released a Monster Hunter game in the US? Granted I don't play the series thus I don't pay attention to it, they could have released one last week for all I know.

Might be too much to hope, but I REALLY hope Shi-Long Lang and (maybe escaped) Calisto Yew appears again. They were great characters but neither got any time to really shine. Yew in particular seemed really interesting but was never explored, her being a spy, her changing appearance and yet her some how changing jobs to be even higher role than a well known lawyer, to working in the FBI level industry beside the top guy for years. There is just SO much to do with her. And Lang was great too.
My only concern is that it'll spend like 10 minutes doing a transition from Phoenix to the Judge and spin round him and zoom into his face every time you make a mistake and stuff like that. Like.. I know it's 3D and I'm sure you guys are very proud, but I don't need you to show it off every 2 seconds. That and it won't come out here for like 2-3 years.

Courtroom sections are mostly text conversations, broken up by moments where you cross-examine the witness on the stand, where you must find a contradiction within their testimony and point it out verbally, with physical evidence, or this new 'emotion' system they're introducing. Once you solve this 'puzzle', the dialogue progresses and you carry on in this way until court is adjourned. This trailer doesn't show the other half of the game; exploring crime scenes. It's more hands-on than court.

Man, I have to say, loving the style of the graphics.
He is a great favorite, the judge. He says that he will never die.
The music in this is amazing enough to cause me to throw my money at my screen, not to mention everything else.
