@857frank I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. That's one thing I try to do in all my videos, minimize the commentary and let the natural sounds do the talking. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
And it's official too. NYC has had it's snowiest February, and it's snowiest month EVER! Or at least since records have been kept (1869). Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed!
@CapuRen Yes, you folks there in Finland are used to this kind of weather! All the best to you and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching and commenting
@Dragonfiregum Oh we still get those once in a while! The Blizzard of 2003 and 2006 come to mind :) Hopefully we'll get another whopper this winter!! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks Nathan! Yeah we got clobbered again! And this one ranked I think #4 for all time NYC snow storms! Central Park clocked in with 21 inches!! Here in Queens where I live I measured about 15. I hope you're right about Spring being on the way, lol. I could use a little warmth right about now
Even though we had,by our standards, a bad December where everything shut down for a couple of weeks here in the U.K. we dont get it half as bad as you do over there. Great video...
@LuvsTstormTapes Glad you enjoyed! And yes, there was a sharp difference in snow totals within just a few miles. Some people like you said just got rain. We'll see what Wednesday brings
Glad you enjoyed the video! We may get even more snow in a few days! And no, I do not live in Tornado Alley, far from it actually. But, I do travel out to Tornado Alley every year to chase tornadoes. Been taking the 1500 mile drive every year since 1999!
LOL...yeah I know what you mean. Part of the problem is that we're so tightly packed here in NYC and there are so many roads to plow overall that it seems to take forever to get it done. I think we have like 5000 miles of road total here. The major roads are done first, and places in Queens where I live always get done last. Thanks for watching and commenting! :)
It's been a strange winter for sure! NYC has just recorded not only it's snowiest February on record, it's also our snowiest month EVER on record! And records go back to 1869
@eusoj24 I hope you enjoy your upcoming visit to NYC in February. Snow storms come in all different shapes and sizes. Some last only a few hours and deposit only a dusting of snow, and others can last over 24 hours and dump two feet of snow! It's impossible to tell how this upcoming winter will be, but if you're coming in mid Feb, there certainly could be some snow. But don't worry. Our city is pretty good at clearing the snow away, all though it could take a day or two depending on where you r
LOL...yes this is true. I saw people that morning trying their best to make it to their job, and most of them probably were just sent home anyways! Even the schools closed at the last minute. Our Mayor was insistent on keeping them open the night before, but finally agreed to close them that morning. Where in NY did you live? Thanks for watching and commenting!
I agree, lol. I think at that point he was just getting so frustrated that he was trying anything to get unstuck. Would you believe there were people beeping their horns at him??!! Like he was blocking the road on purpose, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@DJvyce92 ha ha you would think right!? Or at least chains for the tires. On this day though we were a bit caught off guard and got a lot more snow than anticipated. Still....MTA should have been prepared. Thanks for watching!
@FeverMickey I have many Canadian friends who would say the same thing lol. But this storm dumped like 25 inches on us, and for us that defintiely qualifies as major :) Thanks for watching!
Yeah, right now it's looking like the worst of Wednesday's storm will be to the south of us. But, that could certainly change....I'll definitely be keeping tabs! Hope you have fun on Wednesday in NYC!
Yeah he was having a real tough go of it there for a while! The roads were horrible here this morning. There still not that great but at least most of the major roads have been plowed
I agree! LOL....and he was there spinning his tires for a LONG time! If they weren't bald before, they sure as hell are now, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@YoYoYoDaManZ Very cool! So then you know first hand what kind of a winter we're having, lol! Thanks for watching and stay warm...could be more snow this weekend, and then again next week!
@Niyologist It really was coming down like gangbusters! When I woke up early that morning it was a winter wonderland out there and still coming down like crazy!
We in Poland we have a spring :D You were much worse, Poland was from 40-60 cm of snow and there was a time that night the temperature fell very strongly -25, -30 °C (-13, -22°F). I love winter, and I see that in you it is beautiful :) the movie 5 stars Ps You live in the Avenue of tornadoes? Greetings :D
@CapuRen Here in the midland of Russia it`s used to be like in Finland, but for last two years we have not snow till the end of January. New Yorkers are shocked by the abundance of snow, and we on the contrary, are shocked by absence of snow! (forgive me my english:))
@metsfreak4life Heck yeah!! I'm ready! Going to be live streaming it from my static webcan from my house while i'm out and out documenting it around town :)
@indyfan22k Yep, I live here in NYC so I was here for it! Shot a lot of insane video in Manhattan, and in Queens! What a blizzard! Got video posted on my channel if you're interested in checking it out :)
@tornadovideostock You should see my video montage from the video entitled "Snowstorm 1/11 to 1/12 2011" is much shorter than the storm from a month ago, but its from the same spot and I wanted to show you it because I'm aware another snowstorm is headed our way for tomorrow night. When and if you film footage from this upcoming storm, you should put at the end of the title (The Winter that Never Ends) just like in this video xD
@857frank I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. That's one thing I try to do in all my videos, minimize the commentary and let the natural sounds do the talking. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
All natural sounds - no music or commentary, quality picture, this is how to make an impressive video that captures the atmosphere!
@bored1980 It is quite amazing isn't it! Love the sound of snow falling in the early morning :) Thanks for watching!
It's amazing how quiet the snow makes everything. I've never seen anything like it.
@KenneWilleJ1102 Definitely an insane February!! We'll see what this upcoming winter will bring! Thanks for watching

@MizzKarla98 Yes, my Canadian friends are always telling me how crazy it can get up there! lol. Thanks for watching!
Oh wow, lol....that really does drive it home for sure!
I could use a little warmth right about now
Dam I remembered that day school was closed I was so happy lol
Even though we had,by our standards, a bad December where everything shut down for a couple of weeks here in the U.K. we dont get it half as bad as you do over there. Great video...

@liljay227 he was spinning his tires for a VERY long time! Had to be about 10 minutes before he got out of there! Thanks for watching and commenting!

@afr126 Thanks for watching! I shoot on a Sony Z1 HDV Camcorder. I love it! The quality is fantastic.
Haha. It's like that almost every year in here Finland in the winter :D Luckily we have got used to it. Loved the "Finally" at the ending xD
It's been a strange winter for sure! NYC has just recorded not only it's snowiest February on record, it's also our snowiest month EVER on record! And records go back to 1869

We've been digging out all day! It's actually quite warm outside now and in turn, the water content of the snow just went way up. It's HEAVY!! lol
I love how the Orion V CNG got stuck by the phone booth
Waw, really strong blizzard, nice video,
5 Stars !
Looks like Midwest weather to me. Very strange weather for NYC. I could never get use to the way the doors opened when living up there. Nice Vid.
@Youbian LOL....yeah he was going no where fast. Thanks for watching!
I agree, lol. I think at that point he was just getting so frustrated that he was trying anything to get unstuck. Would you believe there were people beeping their horns at him??!! Like he was blocking the road on purpose, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Did you make up to the Northeast for the big snow last Sunday/Monday ?
@DJvyce92 ha ha you would think right!? Or at least chains for the tires. On this day though we were a bit caught off guard and got a lot more snow than anticipated. Still....MTA should have been prepared. Thanks for watching!

We got about 15 inches here in Queens...just goes to show what only a few miles difference can do with snow totals!
Yeah he was having a real tough go of it there for a while! The roads were horrible here this morning. There still not that great but at least most of the major roads have been plowed

@mygreatness008 Looking forward to it too! Thanks for watching!
Cara Gosselin: It's snowing 🌨 🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨
@niyazov96 ha ha for real? Yeah that was a bit of a surprise. We were expecting snow, but not the 20+ inches we got!
Thanks Doug! Yeah, that bus driver was giving me the evil eye while I was filming, lol
That bus is having a rough time, that’s why we should be careful while driving. I've wonder how the driver would've felt.
Yes those road conditions were very slick that day. Those bus drivers have to be out there doing their job, but it wasn't easy for sure that day.
im assuming you are aware about the potential snow for tomorrow (december 26th-27th 2010 for nyc). I hope you're camera-ready for that!!!
They really be struggling lol
Wow...that's crazy!!!
The Bronx got extremely walloped Overnight. The snow was falling furiously and I went went in the height of the storm for an hour. :D
Oh yeah, he was smokin them good! I only filmed a little bit of it but he was going like that for about 15 minutes!
@KenneWilleJ1102 Yep, had a decent burst of snow this morning. Could be more on the way late this weekend possibly
@mygreatness008 So did you drive around with your friend? Had any fun? I guess not much! ))
Barely any snow:( i miss the big snow storms NY use to get. The ones that make it so you can't see your car.
lol... oh wow this is Hilarious.... You gotta love NY though... come rain or shine they still go to work...
I miss my home.. I Love NY
@metsfreak4life Heck yeah!! I'm ready! Going to be live streaming it from my static webcan from my house while i'm out and out documenting it around town :)
New York City/Central Park got 20.8 inches out of this. I got 20.0 inches.
@janjancummings I agree 100%! I was thinking the same exact thing while I was filming this, lol.
@afr126 When I purchased it, it was around 3k..I think closer to 2k now :)
@Donnyboy1984 lol, I think a little bit of both actually.
Nice Job
@indyfan22k Yep, I live here in NYC so I was here for it! Shot a lot of insane video in Manhattan, and in Queens! What a blizzard! Got video posted on my channel if you're interested in checking it out :)

@WarHawk226 Very cool!
2:18 thats literally where i live!
I bet he did!
Ooo look a Canadian winter but your missing like 5 feet of snow eh lol
I guess because I am a Canadian I don't find this that major, because we usually get like ten feet of snow, and 30 foot drifts. Just saying!
@weiserbud67 This is true! lol....not sure why
@tornadovideostock
