extra help here you can double tap A to build one and more if you don't want to craft all. when you are taming you can use RT on the narcotics to keep it down without going down to to use item. X to go in your dinos inventory when riding.
only bit i would touch up on which i dont know what it is for xbox but for ps the options for holding down the touchpad as thats been updated and some new things have been added beyond that very informative i like it. (i think this came out before that change. not sure.) lol
I wish if you have a blueprint in your inventory you wouldn't have to unlock that item to get something later. For instance I had a fabricator blueprint and made the fabricator but anything that requires a fabricator to make has me waste engram points unlocking it anyway. As I am single player I try to only use my points for necessary stuff.
Took me ages to figure out how to get it to show up the resources needed to craft an item 🤔. The folders are still a bit buggy for me, but I'm getting used to the rest. This is a really useful vid, thank you. Book marked and shared x
Thanks v much for this, it's just a shame whoever makes ark somehow thinks all their players are psychic and don't need a tutorial on this pretty complicated menu system. Ridiculous really.

Jade when you toggle item names in the inventory I'm not sure if this is a glitch or Easter egg but when you push down the right control stick it also toggles item names this happened to me like i said I'm not sure if this is a glitch or Easter egg
Love the video. Need one on multiple folders in storage. Example/Question: can one folder hold seeds only and another hold fertilizer only? I’m having a hard time trying to figure this out. Thanks
If your inventory is full of random stuff, you can sort it by type in alphabetical order. Or, if you like, when you open your inventory, you can type something in the search bar and it will only show that item. Then it is very easy to transfer all to a dino or storage/forge etc etc. Hope this helps.
David Hyde I think he means that he wants to move multiple stacks at once, if I have 30 stacks of fibre then I have to move each stack individually instead of just moving all the fibre at once
I figured most of it out just fiddling with it,except how to place more than one building component at a time without having to get back in invo or fast bar.which it slightly anoying,only because I started ark on mobile.alot of instructions is there,just slightly less than completely obvious,and a tutorial would have been nice,or even a quick reference on pause menu at least.but aside from getting used to how it works I don't think it's terrible,I feel it could be better for sure but it is what it is.and maybe I'm just used to how skyrims interface works for so long,and love the layout.but it will be managable.
Hi, how do I equip a saddle to a dino using PS4 controls? I’ve tried double tapping X on the saddle after going into the dino’s inventory, same way you equip clothing to your character. Nothing happens. Please help.
for me, L3 just toggles the item names on/off when I'm in the inventory - it doesn't switch from my inventory to the storage inventory :( so sad coz this was the most annoying part of the game so far is having to arrow across to get from one side to the other :(
I'm about 15mins new to this game. I need to configure my game pad button layout. I need my jump to be on a specific button, use/activate on another etc. So far I've only seen it can be done with keybord. How do I configure my game pad??
I like the new UI. Half of these buttons i didn't know exist. The one i knew was like if you are in cupboard, lets say, and you want to move an entire stack, just highlight it and press and hold X. It moves the entire stack from your inventory. But all the other are new to me, like L3 and R3 buttons 😊😊

The square button for crafting makes up to five if you have the materials, double click x on item for one or r2

well yu got an updated version orr coz i can not do the L3 quick transfer only double tap a to transfur one item
for the crafting I have found out the square crafts 5 and triangle crafts 100 if that helps anyone

A fabricator is essential for mid game stage, it's your gateway to turrets and other things used for PvP.
